02. Leftfield

03. The Shamen

0x. Fluke

0x. Sunscreem

0x. The Chemical Brothers

0x. The Crystal Method

I think that The Crystal Method is seriously overrated... they don't create brilliant music.

I agree with Glako. Vegas was 'it' back then. I listened to it today and it was like all the tracks have same feel, style. It got boring after the first 4 tracks

Crystal Method are pretty cool - you can hear they are trying to experiment with different avenues on each successive record (though I've yet to sit and give Legion of Boom my solid, undivided attention, I've only heard chunks of it at work where I'm constantly interrupted.) Anyway, Vegas was the shit back then and for me it still sounds good albeit dated a bit. Doesn't hold any less appeal for me, but I still like Crystal Method even though playability wise, I can't say they on on constant rotation in my cd player.

In my opinion The Crystal Method is like a good action film. It doesn't offer too much depth but packs some great entertainment.

Vegas was not as good as Tweekend. I find each album they release has a different feel to it. The Crystal Method is great for the big bang for your buck. Not totally obssesed with them though, like glacko pointed out, not the greatest :D

He AnType didn't expected to see Prodigy so high on your list. It's even higher then JXL ( oooh I did it again sorry bout that ;-) )

1.) PRODIGY (they might be slipping to 2nd place cause they don't release anything)

2.) Chemical Brothers (they might be climbing to 1st place cause they DO release alot on regular bases)

3.) uh that one is hard uh Underworld?? Orbital?? Daft Punk?? Eboman?? Dylan Rhymes?? Unyx?? Lamb?? Leftield?? Acid Junkies?? Fatboy?? ooh I know

3.) Hardknox (but just)

Experience and Jilted generation are ammmmmmmmazing.

Most Experience b-sides and remixes are better then originals.

Because that album, together with DYOH, and FBS's Better Living Through Chemistry DEFINED big beat. 96-98 would be lost with all 3 albums

based on my limited knowledge and experience..

1)The Chemical Brothers

2)Underworld

3)Fatboy Slim, at least I really like either remixes of his tracks or remixes he does and his DJ sets

FOTL is good because of the pulsating, grungy hard kind of sound it has. MFTJG is even better because its in between the hardcore grunge and the high pitch screaming in Experience. Both sides of the spectrum covered, wonder what they have in store for the new album?
