I actually sent an e-mail to Infusion's international booking manager last week. Hilariously, she got back to me. ::laughs::

She said they're still trying to get together the release for the new album, but that the States are on the radar. Yay. :)

It's still nothing but a hope, but a strong hope.

Had a great time in Portland this last weekend. Relaxing and full of... good food.

Just a random thought:

Surrender came out around 10 yrs ago and remember loving the hell out of LFB and UTI during college..but I couldn't get into HBHG or TSU! Weird but true!

But I guess life has a weird way of influencing you to go back to previously listened tracks and listen to them entirely different than the last time.

I'm one of those types of listeners who gives music a second or third chances. I like the challenge of why some music is hard to love, so instead of asking myself the question 'Why does this song sound terrible?', I SHOULD be asking myself the question 'Why am I terrible at listening to music?'

I'm currently using this method on a few Ed Banger artists with no luck but manage to find some rare choice tracks.

Nice cool weather here! Look forward to Fall and raking leaves! LIA!

@inchemwetrust

exactly the same for me man, just recently i had a relisten of Surrender and now have a new found appreciation for songs such as dream on and surrender (which i didn't get into as much when i first heard surrender)

i think there are songs by the chemies that immediately grab you and instant love. The other songs that you don't love straight away require the knowledge of the beauty of chemical brother music before you understand how epic they are. For example i used to get bored of the build up during TSU, now i live for it :)

I couldn't handle the full power of TSU back then Jittem. I was so young! (BULLSHIT! I was 25) :)

I wish that 1999 could've been a better year though:

Star Wars: The Phantom Menace

Woodstock 99*

Columbine High School Massacre

*Chems performed, and that's not bad!

Hey, Spongebob Squarepants, The Matrix and Fight Club all came out in 1999, so it wasn't all bad.

+1 since Y2K didn't end modern civilization as we know it

-1 since "partying like it's 1999" was actually 16 years of highly overrated hype

lol--not for me.

I lost my virginity on NYE of 1999. ;-)

And yes, 1999 was an epic year for film. Add American Beauty to that list. :D

Fierce hangover today.

Decent night last night, although not much to report. Just had fun and too much to drink with a friend. A mistake for right now--the studying for the LSAT should be coupled with sobriety, but I've managed to refrain from smoking anything with THC, which has my wits sharpened. :)

I think that after I'm done studying and after I've taken the test, I will have some good things coming my way. As for now, I'm keeping it a little low-key.

Agreed 1999 was an epic year for film. Just have a gander on wikipedia!

And I'm going to have to agree with satur8 on the whole NYE 1999. Talk about anti-climatic. All the mass Y2K hysteria beforehand was amusing, though. It was funny when the world didn't end, satellites and airplanes didn't plummet from the sky and computers didn't go into War Games mode like all the paranoid people were predicting.

Speaking of hysteria Whirls, don't we have another one on 2012! :D

you are right about the 2012. Luckily for us though, the new chems album will allready be out. So everything is A-O-K

Extremely tired. 15 hour day at work on monday, 10 hour day yesterday.

Studying for the LSATs on top of it, and my windows rattle which makes it hard to fall asleep.

Yeesh.

Hope everything is well with everyone else, though.

My tummy hurts.....but thats cause I pushed myself too hard tonight running. I've been doing good lately...but tonight went south.

Finally went on a date with that french horn player last night. Went well (not great), but today I went into my over analyzation mode. luckily friend slapped me out of it. Im thinking of trying again next week.

Trying to find a place that will sell me hundreds of fake mustaches cheap for work. Movember is a coming.

Oh and classes started again....nothing new there though.

Think positive, and don't overthink. Glad you had a date! :D

I went out on a psuedo-date with this pretty-needy-and-in-fact-most-people-would-probably-consider-psycho-but-I'm-a-nice-guy-and-try-to-really-understand-people-so-I-wouldn't-consider-her-necessarily-psycho girl.

I've hung out with her once before and she's really interesting, but she didn't want to kiss. We did end up cuddling with each other for a little while watching a movie, though. But I'll likely not end up hanging out with her again--I asked her to lay down with me while we watched, and she asked if it was because I hadn't cuddled anyone in a while. I said, "Well, actually, I just saw my ex-girlfriend in Portland last weekend."

She got this look on her face and said, "Um... okay, but you're not going to see her again, right?"

That pretty much scared me away. That and the hug at the end of the night was way too tight and way too long.

Dating is fucking lame sometimes.

Ryno, good luck, my friend.

Dating is fucking lame all the time.

Sadly, it's not quite as lame as not being able to get a date.

now now, dating can be fun. if you find a cool person that you'd not consider it impossible to one day become an old married boring couple with. of course thinking that right away might be a little, you know.
