Sorry to start a thread that I know exsists (but i couldn't find), but I was just wondering if someone could send me the link to the "other" video of the "animal track" being performed live. Not the one posted by sneaks. I rememmber someone coming on here a little while ago and presenting us with a link to a video that had no tagged refrence to the "animal track" but was identified as that. The reason for this is that I am trying to create the "animal track" myself from what I have heard.

It would help a lot (and sorry for opening a new thread). Thanks!~~~

Yes, it was another live video I believe. The title of the video had no refrence to the animal track, nor did the tags or description.

That might be the link your looking for. That is definetly a DJ set though. I think I might have mentioned something in the audio surf topic

Does anyone know how this song got the name "the animal track"? Is this something the Chems put out there, or was it named on this forum?

Sure I could research the old posts but a nice story now would be so much better....

Tom said the track is called "Problems", or maybe he ment that the track is a problem to get it finished.

It was the track which was first believed to be EBW 8, which it's obviously not.

Justin Robertson and Erol Alkan both have a copy of the "Problems" vinyl.

It probably has fallen behind a couch and will re-surface in the future.

it got the name animal song from the forum, think it might of been me in a review of one of the ptb tour concerts calling the new song animal cause the visuals for it were the animals and other people here started calling it animal and it stuck, tom mentioned it was called problems/problem child at turnmills one year,

it's kinda funny how names evolve around here.

Remeber when Suraface to Air was still refered to as the underwater song because of the tumbling animations back in 04.

also how EBW 7 is refered to as Acid Children though it's never been fficially named that on any release. BBC put the tag in it for there glasto gig and it stuck. But it's still officially EBW 7

And don't forget the ever-so-elusive "Here Come The Drums"!!

Yes, I find that a lot of the chemical brothers remixes are under completely different titles on Limewire.

Also, "Under The Influence" is comonly known as "Bass Test" which makes me wonder where that name came from. And how "In Dust We Trust" is more commonly known as "In Dust".

Interesting.

I believe Bass Test was the promo title for the song Under The Influence.

I think one day it would be cool if Tom and Ed released some of these tracks that have been tucked away between the cushions (if they feel the tracks live up to the expectations enough to share of course). I don't know, maybe they can call the collection of lost-and-found exclusive tracks the Sofa Sessions or something.

I would like to also express my interest in the legendary "Here Comes the Drums!!".

Has anybody heard this or is it some sort of old in-joke? I keep hearing about it, but never really hearing a description or anything.

What is this?!

I'm begining to think it's now just in reference to Doctor Who season 3 (last seasons) finale. That's more along the lines of orbital though. And again with the cushions! thanks for a great metaphor meerkat!

It kind of makes me think of Everbody Love a Carnival. Those drums were wicked, and the name sounds similar to me for some reason...
