I hope they will come back with a full album one day that will prove all the critics wrong.

Aren't they working on one now? :?

I read that somewhere.
He put on a turn-down collar, a black bow, and wore his Sunday tail-coat. As such, he looked spruce, and what his clothes would not do, his instinct for making the most of his good looks would.

I hope so. Liam Howlett is still one of the most skilled composer around.

Yes, he is. I like the music of Tom Rowlands and Ed Simons more though. And they follow a schedule of 1 album every 2 years or so. This kind of consistency I like.

Yes, thats what keeps most people coming back for more :P

Who was it that left the prodigy again? One of the main composers eh, not just a MC or dancer?

Dancer; he had apparently no part in composing tracks.

The Prodigy is basically just Liam - the others just sorta come and go at his beck and call. He might get Keith in for a vocal or two but the creative burden is solely on him. But he's got what we like to call the Trent Syndrome (ie Trent Reznor): he gets distracted REAL easily and likes to play video games, hence the long wait between albums.

And anyone who dislikes 'Rhythm and Stealth' is a putz. In some ways I like it more than 'Lerfism' (which is heresy in some quarters, I realize).

I guess Liam also suffers from the same problem Leftfield did at the end of their career. Experience, Jilted and Fat Of The Land all sounded different and pushed their genre further. Might be that Liam is still trying to find a sound that evolves even further rather than just copying the old tracks.

Well, if he likes video games so much, why doesnt he meld the Prodigys big beats in with some nice chippy sounds? I would love it.

Or write the soundtrack for one ?

Other popular bands have done so in the past, like KMFDM, Cobalt 60 and more.

And Trent Reznor! :D

Though I heard he backed out of making the score for Doom 3. If there's truth to that rumor, that's be a bummer.

How could I forget. :-//

It really seems like either he backed out or got backed out. I am not sure about it, but as far as I remember, he confirmed that in an interview himself.

Sonic Mayhem maybe ? At least they did the music for Quake3.

NIN is his project, but I am not sure wether or not Quake 2 went under NIN or Trent Reznor only.
