I've registered my US account three years ago to download iPhone apps. There are lots of sites offering iTunes gift cards — redeem the code and you're ready to go.
The Visual Experience version is low quality — 640 × 352. Well, I'll see the whole thing in HD at Sonar anyway =)

@Whirly and/or other US iTunes users: Is the Further iTunes pass already it's money worth? Or the photos and Pourquoi will be available at 22th june? And will there be more updates/extras for that iTunes pass?

Hey guys, I have to be brief as I've been flat on my back with the flu today... To answer the iTunes question about don't think and pourquoi - how the itunes pass works is the featured items are rolled out over the course of several weeks (depending on what all is featured in the pass) us passholders don't have these tracks yet but can expect them to be rolled out later on. I don't know when.
The first roll out thus far is the further visual experience which is audio/visual in a single 51 minute movie. My assumption is this will be the same as the DVD.
Whether the iTunes pass is worth it - back to my first post in this thread my knee jerk reaction was a bit jerky and skeptical. But after some rational thought, for me it is to me as $12.99 is less than a halfway decent sit-down meal in a run of the mill restaurant. To me it was every bit worth being able to hear and see it, without having to wait until the 22nd (which I would have done anyway, had this opportunity not presented itself - plus the bonus tracks helped sway my decision)

Sorry, I can't quote at the moment - but @ Joslyn, do you mean like, will the movie be sold seperately (not as part of a cd/DVD package)?
If so, I really don't know. That's a good question - though it would seem odd to have just the movie selling on it's own. It seems better suited to present as part of the further package.

its all on the first page joslyn
June 8 with a 51-minute film representing all the music and visuals, nonindexable to ensure that fans watch it in order as intended.
June 15 by a 20-minute "making of" documentary;
June 22 the official release of the entire album, including an extensive image galley.
June 29 an unreleased track, "Pourquoi"
while i think this is a fantastic deal for the american market, i wont be trying to acquire the us itunes pass. if the video/film had have been of a higher quality i would have bought it. the euro disc will have the best quality video so i will stick with that. if itunes or any other download service wants to sell a hi def copy it would be very enticing!

Christ, that was awesome! Just what I expected it to be! A phenomenal album, and any song from it would be massive live! I can't wait for all the other goodies this pass has granted me!
