I hope I'm not doing my usual thing and posting a topic that has already been done (that's what happens when you don't post for a few months) but I figured that the songs from PTB have sank into our stomachs and that we can give out favorites. Planet-dust.net used to do this in a poll for each album and I wish we could here (or at least I don't know how). I think that the fact that this was such a tough question to figure out that it is a good indication of how great Push the Button is.

      So What's Everyones Favorite track?

For me it's Hold Tight London. This, to me, is one of their most deep and complex songs ever with the amount of layers you can hear when you put on headphones. It's also one of the most emotional songs in my opinion. What sealed the deal for me what when I heard several live versions, some sounding like "Out Of Control" and others being more trance-like. I'm sure the recent ones in the London gigs took on a new form.

Biff , you evil !! Hehehehe.

I will choose...

Surface to Air

As i already said in my " Love 05 " topic , this song got me trough a very difficult period beginning of this year. Hearing it live for the first time march 18 made me cry. So for "personal" reasons , but also because i think this song came right out of Tom and Ed's heart. Every song does , offcourse , but i have the feeling they put a bit of themselves in this song. Okay , this sounds weird i know X-D Bit this song is just so emotional , and it says so much , and it has so much message's in it , while it has no lyrics.

:'(

Hold Tight London

Push The Button is stellar, but for me this song shines the brightest.

While the album reminds me of when I went to London this past January and a great year 2005 was, this song brings back memories from long before it was a twinkle in Tom and Ed's ear. I can't think of any other song that has the ability to reach into my mind like that. It's haunting, epic, beautifully crafted and there is something so pure about the vocal as it swims in and out of those deep reverant layers of melody. It's astounding and so full of emotion and so unique in that it sounds like it's about to take flight into the future of music. I can't think of any other song anywhere that is like Hold Tight London, but maybe I'm being biased.

hey that's a good choice! Like the beats and vibe as well never thought anybody would rate for this one but me . . . on the other hand i'm not really able to choose one track out of this album coz it's like "what's your favourite child" or something . . . what about the whole release? Each song for each mood, Close You Eyes for something emotional, Surface To Air for dreaming and so on, it's all galvanizing!!!

Hold Tight London.

But suprisingly enough I like Left Right a lot too. I normally HATE rap, but the brothers did it again :).

Believe might be the single greatest dance track ever written ( i think it was chemicalfan who said that and i totally agree with that ) love this tune along with The Big Jump. I mean this song literally makes me jump and reach for the ceiling.

i am suprised that nobody has mentioned Shake Break Bounce or Marvo Ging. I would love if Tom and Ed did something with these tracks and played it live. can you imagine ? well i can.

It's hard to decide between Galvanize and Believe...

I really like Q-Tip's voice, and really like what the chems did with that new sound.

Believe

I think that it's a nice song if you want to dance, better than Galvanize.

I also like that kind of "claustrophobic", "fear", "mad" sound, reminds me a lil bit of The Prodigy's Claustrophobic Sting, and this kind of feeling was seen on its video.

So Believe is the winner. :)
