Hey first post! I'm a long long Chemical Brothers fan and need some help
Problem is you all seem so knowledgeable here, I don't like asking something that's probably already been answered, but I've searched and nothing...
The set in question is "Listen Without Prejudice" aired on Radio 1 in like '96? I had it on tape and listened to it religiously. Could someone clarify if this is what the "Anti-Nazi" mix became or not because I've listened to it and it doesn't seem the same. The track-list was almost identical but I could of sworn there was an early version of Piku without the sampled voice and more like scratching over the top. Am I completely imagining this? I'd love to hear this version again and the whole set just for old times sake.
Again, apologies if the answer is staring me right in the face but I'd love to hear a broadcast recording of this set if it still exists... or someone to tell me I'm not going mad and imagining things!
Cheers
J

the anti-nazi mix was a specially commissioned mix for the BBC. it was broadcast for radio one's 'listen without prejudice' week of music in early march 1997, a few weeks before 'dig your own hole' was released. the cd mix is identical to what was broadcast.
unfortunately i lost my tape recording of the radio broadcast. i would love to have a copy again, can still hear pete tongs voice overs when i hear the mix!
the anti-nazi mix is still the greatest dj mix the chemical brothers have ever produced.

Am I right in saying there's no Piku 'instrumental' on the Anti-Nazi mix? I've only quickly skipped through it.
I'm almost certain the Listen Without Prejudice mix had some form of Piku. Really! I'm almost sure of it because it really stood out to me at the time...
I can hear the scratch pattern, it's stuck in my head.
Edit: I've just skipped through the Anti-Nazi mix and there is no Piku. I'm going to stick my neck out and say the mixes are different!

Thanks for trying guys...
I would probably wet my pants in more ways than one if Tom or Ed cleared this up (not that up - I really should stop typing as I think:/)
It was definitely Piku and it was the only tape I had so 2+2=4 right?
It was really cool though. I'd like to know if that scratching was live or produced for the track. Apart from that it was very similar to the album version
