you remind me of when tom and ed came 'close' to my neck of the woods (2 hour drive) back in 99 with surrender. I was 14 at the time and really wanted to go....parents wouldn't alow me though. Glad I waited though now. saying my first live experience at Fuji in 04 more then enough for words.

I hope ill be able to see them :S... I mean, everyone else will be so taller than a 13 year old...and I'm only just 13... :/
Ah well, I'm still going :p And I still cant believe how close they'll be ! Im not going to listen to the chems AT ALL for the week building up to it. That'll will be pure music torture, but I'll just have to cope. I cant wait xb

Hey, 13 isn't too young for a show. I was around that age when I went to my first concert. That show was assigned seating, however, no general admission anywhere and I was with my older brother and his friends so it wasn't a challenge to stand my ground. The crowd were fanatical and into it, but there was no moshing or anything of the sort.
The Chems might be a little different though. I myself am short, only a tad over 5 ft. tall and it can be hard for me to stand my ground especially when the crowd is tight. But don't let your age be a factor. I am old enough to be your mother Jester (that's a scary thought!!) and personally think it's really cool to see young people at shows. I'm here to tell you that going to a show where there's only older people standing around with their arms folded is an absolute drag. So a good mix of all ages is good for everyone and having young people in the mix of an all ages crowd is good for a show, good for a band to see they're reaching people of all ages. Will this be your first concert, Jester?

Sorry about the double post, but I just thought...
How long does support normally play for? Cos (with all respect) I dont really like Simian that much...I won't mind if they play for like the first hour or something, but then I'd like to have about 3-4 solid hours of the chems music. Do support play all the way through, or is it just at the start or the end? Sorry, I know I'm such a newb when it comes to concerts, but I was just wondering...

on a sunday? well, theres garlands, society, the bar bar, the camel club..lol, im 13 and i know this XD
If you need to get the train, you can get the ormskirk train from the city center.
And 2hrs of chems plus 45 of SMD only equals 2hr45min, and yet it says from 6 - 11...that dosen't make sense...is there something im missing?

The night started so well, I thought Simian were class but the atmosphere for the Chems was really crap and the venue was full of uninterested wankers. The sound for the Chems wasn't up to much either, it seemed actually louder for Simian. Why? The visuals were absolutely stunning though. I wish I'd gone to the Apollo but I couldn't. Mind you, free parking was a bonus!
