Don't know. Dissolve is one of my three favourite songs from Further - it sounds so fresh but then again it sounds like you know this song for years, like a missing track out of the DYOH-era. On the other hand i love those Beetroots-livesets but i don't think their sound and the Dissolve-sound fit that good. Some songs don't have a need to be remixed and i think Dissolve is one of them.

Speaking about remixing: maybe Kid Loco or Kruder&Dorfmeister can do a really nice mix of Snow.

Totally agree here is a freshness and newness, yet a sense of familiarity to Dissolve.

I see what you mean here. Sometimes some things are better left untouched.

I'm open to the idea of people the Chems admire and respect getting their hands on some songs to remix - I see remixes in some ways to be an artistic interpretation of a song (using the term 'artistic interpretation' loosely).

That said I can't imagine a remix of Escape Velocity either, anymore than I can imagine a remix of The Private Psychedelic Reel. I think it has more to do with me putting those songs on untouchable pedestals, though.

So either we're going to get a remix album, or there are at least going to be three singles? Well, that sounds like we win either way!

Edit: I think I'm one of the few people who enjoyed Romborama, so I'm pretty interested to hear this remix. Doesn't it seem like the Chems are getting more great remixers for this album? The only way that it could get better is if Vitalic were to be confirmed as another remixer.

Dissolve is one of my favorite songs on the album and I'm holding out faith that the Beetroots will do a good job remixing it. I think they will, unless they just make an original track with three seconds of Dissolve mixed in (I've seen it before, hope I don't have to see it again).

Maybe they'll just keep the vocal and make a totally different instrumental to go with it.

Me neither, sasha played it at the electric daisy last weekend and only seemed to touch it up a bit...

Let's get an epic chems remixing themselves pls!

So, the remix is available for free on the main page of the site.
And...it's not bad ! Actually, it's listenable ! It brings a totally different mood to the track but it's still powerful and quite good; A little bit too "noisy" at some moments but at least it's original. Not what I would have expected from the Bloody Beetroots !
To be honest, even if it's not perfect, I think it's the best Further remix so far.

Great "remix" - although it doesn't have too much left from the original. It's more a standalone track that uses the vocals and the initial drum roll.
I like the atmosphere of that choon. Nicely done.

I'm very, very pleased with this remix. It's absolutely gorgeous! I can totally hear the draw of influence of the original track, and it takes on a different form. The treatment the vocals got is very nice. This take is softer than the original, less retro psychedelic - it even seems to be hinting at a melancholic perspective almost. I quite like what the Bloody Beetroots have done here. Nicely done!

This one's a keeper.
