-BOWLING FOR COLUMBINE

Any americans here must see BFC.

Bowling for Columbine was excellent, it was definitely food for thought that makes you think about how our culture feeds off of fear. Another good Moore documentary was Roger and Me.

Nerdcore, a movie recommendation for ya: Human Traffic. It blows 24 Hour Party People out of the water, kicks Groove in its sorry little ass, and is the all around goodtime party flick that's summed up many I night I've beared witness to. Go rent it now, you'll be glad you did and you'll thank me later!!!

The Coen Brothers are awesome. My favorite film by them is Raising Arizona - loved the story, loved the acting, loved the humor, loved the cinematography - and it has my favorite chase scene ever. What I like most about their style is that there's a very earnest quality to the way they tell a story through film.

Yep, I saw Oh Brother Where Art Thou a couple of times, great flick, cool to look at and the music sequences were fantastic, as well as the music itself. I rented it when it first came available for rent and could've kicked myself for not seeing it sooner. And seeing as how it was inspired from the Odyssey, I could kick myself for not retaining all the knowledge I gained from studying Homer's The Odyssey all those years ago... ;)
