What are you doing! You're as bad as those people who hang around playgrounds selling crack to the kids.
Glako-Fahn gonna read that and start taking /making it, and he's only a kid.
They start so young these days
mwaahahahahahahahaha X-D X-D - that was beautiful.

Spain blames attack on Basques; U.S. wonders about al-Qaida link
Well, this is a thread about k - what do you expect? ;) chemicalfan, no need to apologize!
But on a more somber note, the events in Madrid today saddened me. Madrid was my first foreign city (and from where some of my family originated from) and it will always be close to my heart. What angers me about this situation is the soft target strategy carried out by whoever these fucks were.
What's interesting is that the Basque movement never carries out their plans on soft targets, and lately they've been open to talks and negotiation. Perhaps this was a fringe group of hardcore extremists but I find it interesting that the Spanish elections are coming up. Then again, I don't really know too much of anything except what sterilized version of the news I get here in the States...

Latest new I heard about the disaster:
Al-Qaida is maybe involved.
They found a tape with Koran-text in a van.
In this van were also some detonator parts.
Also some Al-Qaida group also told a English paper that Al-Qaida did it.
But this same group also told the press that Al-Qaida was behind the energy failure some months ago in North US and parts of Canada.
Later on this was proven to be wrong.
I hope for the whole of Europe it wasn't an Al-Qaida attack.
Why???
In Europe there a lot of Moslim people.
I think if these bombings will go further in Europe.
A lot of non-moslim people will blame the moslim population.
I know this is wrong.
But a lot of people choose a the easy way out if their own safety is involved.

I hope it wasn''t Al Queda either because it would make life so hard on the Muslim comminity in Europe. I think given the climate of the world today, it would be horrible to see a fresh outbreak of hatred against these people. I also tend to think that Al Queda (even though they are terrorist bastards) is an easy target for suspicion, as Ghundi said they were blamed for the blackouts in the US at first. I don't know if the argument "Al Queda are lashing out against 'the coalition of the willing'" holds much water this early into the game, we'll have to see. If this turns out to be the case, who would be the next target, I worry about Great Britain.
Yesterday, the 11th of March coincidentally, just hits too close to home. I'll never forget where I was and what I was doing when the towers fell in NYC on 9-11, the horror and shock and disbelief of it all - and seeing this happen to Europe now really opens those wounds back up. I finally turned on CNN last night and saw the wreckage and my heart goes out to Madrid and the rest of Spain who are grieving now.

Yes, very depressing, especially if don't put your head in the bush and think you're not involved. That's just too easy of an alternative around here. We can all symphatize with the Spanish folk now, but big part of the shock is that Europe really is involved with terrorism. What is yet to be seen is how aggressively Spain is going to respond to all this. What should the response be? Not turning into police state I hope.

The K-Hole, in my li'l opinion is nothing really compared to the big psychedelic reel sid offers.. Disassociatives and downers n basically stuff that make ya feel like a million chemical factories exploded inside ya, are just not my drift. Like my mind when it glows.
I also think that Ed n Tom are mockin the whole K-Hole hype on that song.. one of my favs on DYOH. Think they'r very much mindcandy people and the very sarcastic and yet sooo frikkin cool vocal sample * YOUR idea*, kinda makes my theory stronger.
Then the album's called Dig Your OWN hole, so that kinda puts a stamp on it, at least for me. :D
Anyone agree mildly?[/b]

Jack'sRevenge X-D I don't know if Tom and Ed are mocking the whole k-hole thing. Maybe they are, maybe they aren't. I too tend to think they have the mindcady thing going on but they have a sense of humor so the theory could swing both ways I suppose.
And since they seem to be relatively private people who never divulge personal info about drugs (which is a very smart move on their part imo) we may never know - unless someone wants to pose this question in Ask Tom + Ed!

It's been ages. I wonder what other questions have been asked over the year the q&q has been inactive?
To be honest, I've been wracking my brain for a long time thinking of what to ask them. I know there must be a decent question in my head somewhere. It's just that, I really do tend to be a bit shy at first - I do much easier when I'm asked a question and the conversation goes from there. I've thought of some pretty basic and boring questions but held back for fear of looking like a complete knob. :-// I wanted to congratulate Tom on becoming a father (sort of a 'welcome to the parenthood club, it's gonna be OK, you'll get through the late nights' kinda thing) but I know how protective parents are and didn't want to publically toe on private matters, plus I didn't want to leave Ed out any question-asking. Then when I found out Ed got married, I wanted to congratulate him on his marriage, but didn't want to leave out Tom as it had been months after his kid was born and I thought it would be silly to congratulate him so late after the fact. Some fan I am, eh? Can't even think of something to ask these two seemingly humble and friendly gentlemen! :-//
So I haven't even asked them anything. Maybe one day, an all inclusive Tom AND Ed question will burst forth from that pea brain of mine and I'll muster the strength to put it into words!
