Hi folks
I've been staring at a massive poster of the cover of Push The Button, and I'm trying to figure out what the picture represents... Any ideas?
I'm thinking its a call to arms of some sort (reflecting the lyrics in Galvanize, and possibly Left Right); an encouragement for us to be mentally strong and bring about the world that we all want...
Let me know yr ideas!

fair point b.w.g.e... my problem is i don't have the time, money or motivation to look through 24 pages of "lets talk about push the button" to find three and a half references to the artwork. so in my infinite wisdom i decided to start a new thread. sorry for wasting your time.
btw, any one with anything to say, please post!

hello my friend, that's why i always wanted it to be and finally asked our mod:
the "let's talk about push the button" thread is a sticky one and can be found on the first page of this forum as one of the top 5 threads. if you are
a) too stupid to find out about that and
b) not motivated to read this forum
get away from here
love is all.

ARGH!!! Don't we have enough interpretation threads already!?!??
But Slippy (if I may call you that, please please? It has such a cute ring to it! ;) ) Art is meant to be interpreted!
Anyway, on with the cover art for Push The Button. I like reading the different interpretations, it's kind of cool, reminds me of art history class.
I think it's a very powerful image that suits the record. To me the fist breaking through means power - the power to change the mind which in turn can change the heart.
But that's just me. And I like the record so I can't help but see the positivity in the image.
I think the other "head" image is just as well representative of something equally as positive but not quite as blatant and in your face as a fist breaking through a skull. I really like it. The turning gears and cogs representing that the mind is always thinking, always in motion...

Well, i like the back cover and i imagine something like this: All album is some strange kind of...food for our minds. Mind is like a machine, wchich without any nourishment can't work properly. This cover represent the idea, wchich was born on the mind and go through the brain and mind, and grow, and grow, and on the end, it's come out through the mouth...after the mincing and grinding by the brain...hehe, that is my vision. :)

Although I would love it if people would post everything that has to do with the new record in my Let's Talk About Push The Button!!! thread (and I like how it's a sticky, too!) I can see why 20+ pages may put some people off. Unless you were there from the thread's humble beginnings, it's overwhelming because so much is covered. It's a lot to read and go through and people don't always have the time. I think it was JacksRevenge who mentioned that he had to print out that thread, pages and pages and pages worth of reading.
Sure there's a lot of new topics coming up and lots of new threads. Not all of them good but that's the nature of forums.
I remember the lull between records and Chems news, when days would go by and the only active thread was the Now Playing one.
I would much rather have traffic on this board than no traffic at all. At least a good portion of these superfluous Push The Button spin-off threads keep this place moving and can inspire discussion.
