0.o oooh, fatboy slim and basemet jaxx. =\ Why don't people like fatboy slim that much? I'm just starting to get into him, liking it so far.

I know we may have been over this before but I will most always come galloping to the defense of Fatboy.
I can understand why people don't like him, everyone's got their argument - but I really dig his energy. His music is what it is, I can't help but enjoy what he does. To me he belongs in the era when I was starting to get into the Chemical Brothers... that was quite a personal time for me when I started enjoying my life again... so I have the good memories that I can associate with Fatboy.

I think that will do for me... I hope Fatboy Slim will forget about so-called "featurings" and will make a great album ...

Well hes got a musical coming so it could be something related to that, there is also rumors of a greatest hits album on the FBS forum and a Bondi beach dvd.

Yeah there is alot of people who love him but also people who just laugh at the cheese factor. I was reading a thread the other day from a while back where you posted a picture of his album cover with 'cut, paste' written all over it, again opnion was very divided.
Personally I think Norman is great and I enjoy seeing him dj, its allways drunken easy going fun. Hes not up himself and allways has a good laugh. Like you whirly I was into him alot in a certain era, when I was just getting into dance music. But despite some of his records not being up to the chems high standards I still think a man who has done alot for dance music and can attract 250,000 people to a beach in the UK and also hoast the best beach events ever isnt a bad and deserves alot of respect.

Incubus
Pharrell
M.I.A
Killers
Arctic Monkeys
Basement Jaxx
I've heard from one of his best friends that Fatboy Slim had decided to stop releasing new music due to the last one not going down very well. He was quite gutted about it all. I think he still plans to do remixes etc and will def keep DJing and doing parties etc... So I reckon that album will be a greatest hits...

I remember seeing him on Jonathon Ross a while ago and seeing him play bass for a band that are on the Skint label... Maybe he'll create some sort dance/funk band - I reckon that'd be cool! Hopefully it wont involve Macy 'Marge Simpson' Gray tho....
