Out of curiosity I checked the schedule 1 drugs in the U.S.:

http://www.usdoj.gov...scheduling.html

How the hell is Cocaine a Schedule II drug and MDMA a Schedule I drug? Is the DOJ on drugs?

How does a useless, more harmful substance with higher addictive qualities with production sources more likely to come from countries and areas which occur to the detriment to those in the region end up as less of a priority for enforcement than a drug which has not only been proven to have therapeutic value, but also lends itself to being less of a threat to the U.S. as its production is less likely to come from unstable nations?

This country is fucking backward. Violence is okay, but sex is bad. Cocaine is alright, but ecstasy is forbidden. It's okay to bail out companies, but not individual people. Religion is only okay as long as it's a Christian-based religion.

@Biff: SMD will probably go on later in the evening, but doors open @ 8:00, I think.

Yeah, sure sweetheart, god knows none of us have ever described our chemical experiences on here. God knows we never talked about scoring E from a 16 year old in Brixton. Where's the 'Roll Eyes' smiley when I need it?

Well, i've deffo been buzzed the past days, cause i had 40degree celcius fever (104F), man, i dunno if any of you ever had fever that high, but i was seriously tripping out and it wasn't fun, there were all this people in my room, except it was just in my head. Hmz. My friend had exactly the same fever epidemic and she had such high fever she thought her arms were two other people and she had whole convo's with them.

So who needs LSD kids if you can get fever!

I'm such a good kid nowadays. Ive never been a reaaaaaally bad kid, but now that i work 40 hrs a week i cant hnadle big parties man! Last time i did anything was at NYE and it was a tiny weeny bit. I'm almost 24 but i sound like im almost 44 hahahaha. I just dont think it's worth it to do it to much. So i'm saving up for very special occasions (awakenings, pooter ?! ;-))

Special occasions, indeed. Moderation will keep you in good health, or at least moderately good help.

I love those drunks who get wasted every other night who chastise people who take more interesting substances from time to time...

To my sweetheart up there. What you don't seem to notice or care is that you apparently believe your scoring all this shit from the neighbors who're nearly half your age is actually a good thing to brag about publically after the year you've been through. Really?

Public discretion. Maturity. Moderation. Good day.

The reason why cocaine is schedule II is because it has accepted (though very limited) use as a topical anesthetic, despite its high abuse and addiction potential. Especially for dental work in children where other anesthetics are contraindicated, if I recall correctly.

MDMA, on the other hand, is schedule I because it currently has no accepted medical use. There are studies underway involving use of MDMA for post-traumatic stress disorder and such. If the studies succeed there is a very slim chance the FDA may reschedule MDMA into schedule II. Doubt it will happen because of the political ramifications but you never know.

Drug schedules aren't strictly based on a harm basis. For example, methamphetamine is actually a schedule II drug as well, because it has some use in ADHD and narcolepsy. It's sold under the tradename Desoxyn.

------

I've been really laying off the "MDMA" lately. Hardly ever use it. Been sticking mostly to opioids lately (oxycodone and hydromorphone). Goes nice with ching and a bowl.

I can't be bothered being strung out the day after anymore from M. Don't care to get drunk really either.

Oh yeah, forgot to mention this before. An acquaintance/ex-coworker of mine was busted smuggling 250,000 tablets of Ecstasy into the US. Entered a plea bargain and might get off with 10 years or less. His 32-year-old accomplice is looking at 30-40 years in a Montana prison.

Don't cross borders with drugs, kids.

My friend only stood to make about $1,500 from the deal. Morons got pulled over for a burned out taillight.

I always knew that Stash was a serious drug addict judging from his erratic behaviour on the forum, but now it all falls into place. Thanks Mia for the confirmation.

And an oldtimer begging a couple of 18 year olds for drugs is seriously fucked up.

Update, my friend got 4 years in a Montana prison. Smuggling = bad.

I hadn't talked to him in probably a year but still sucks to be him.

Ouch, that is harsh. He is lucky it's only 4 years. What happened to his accomplice? Did he get the 30-40 years?

Jesus. Prison is not a place to be in any state but Montana... damn. Prison can't be pleasant by any stretch especially in a place like Montana.

What the hell were those 2 thinking smuggling a quarter million e's through Montana? That's a harsh situation but I can't say I feel bad for anyone who displays such an amazing amount of stupidity.

Accomplice hasn't been sentenced yet.

He's a moron for taking that kind of risk, especially for only a potential payout of $1500. You can make that profit in a good week slanging E in the city and not taking any border risks.

He and a friend were desperate for cash and hooked up with an older guy who was even more desperate. Saddest thing is they got pulled over for a broken taillight and things went downhill from there.

Survival of the fittest...

The universe has always told me never to take risks for sole compensation. For unfettered blissed-out experience, on the other hand...

At least not for that low a pay-out. I don't think the consequences bear taking that kind of risk in general, but certainly not for such a paltry sum.

I've seen too many acquaintences have rather sharp run-ins with the law in the past 1 1/2 years. And have too many more who probably will.

Yeah, there was definitely a missing "risk vs. reward" analysis that didn't happen there.

Four years of my life is worth far more than $1,500.

U know what i read in the paper? Because of ' the crisis' people use more drugs!

And i see why! I got fired from my really good job. I never used a LOT of drugs, but occasionally, but lately ive been a REAAAALLY good girl because i had a good job, i needed to be focused on monday and teusday. Now i got fired and i'm back @ the reception desk. I ordered tickets to all the parties i wanna go to this summer! Not that i'm gonna do lots of drugs, i'm just saying, i need to have fun now that i'm back @ a 'simple' job.

So partying it is!

Sorry to hear about the job loss, Jeanie. At least you had something to fall back on.

Look forward to seeing you in this thread more often. :P

I'm fucking tanked. Weddings bring out the drinks, and mine is tequila.

Hometown hijinks--kind of pathetic. How depressing.
