Vinyls will still exist as long as there are DJs. ;)
If I could get vinyls here, I would buy them instead of CDs.
A vinyl has more "soul" than a CD, it's magic. ;)
i totally agree with you. it's a shame the big electronic markets (who sell music products as well) do not sell vinyls. they won't even order them :o :x

But when You play a vinyl, each time the quality of record is a bit worse then the previous listening. So i am a big fan of the cd. You know i'am a children of the high tech and the future generation ;-) I just LOVE an ideal an the liftime quality of recordings!!!But vinyls has some positives in my eyes: biiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiig fine covers!!!!!!!!! :D

i have vinyls being played several times (more than 50) and still sound fresh. plus, the unique vinyl sound is much better than the CD one.
however, i don't mind those little vinyl sounds. music ain't steril and vinyl just gives the sound that music should be played at
vinyl lasts a lifetime, CDs only 35 years :o

Hmmm, i don't in vinyls one thing (the same as casettes). The sound You hear is disturbing by those scratches from vinyl. And this is not original part of what the performers want to give. Hehe, i know i'am weird freak, but i love the steril clearity of sound wchich contain only the original sound without this disturbing scratches(i'am passing over the noise from the amplifier on the high volume ;-) )

most new vinyl is in very good pressing quality and has an excellent sound. 2nd hand vinyl, of course, can have lower sound quality, especially if you buy at eBay. but if the seller states quality as mint or very good, then everything should be fine

i only like them coz you have the artwork in a jumbo format.
nah, that is just another reason to like them. negative in that way is, however, that very often there is no booklet included as CDs have.
and it depends on the record's artwork: all that 80s crap artworks -> :o
but nowadays there are some amazing artworks like the kasabian 10" record one which glows in the dark or isoble campbell's last record's one
