Yeah i'll cast my vote right now! It's a shame everybody knows just HBHG so it's time to make a change. But most of the great artist of former days were unknown or not appreciated at lifetime...

Well u know , i kinda like it that the chems aren't MASSIVE. I mean , they are offcourse , but they don't have starstatus like...well , we can ll name a bunch. BUT i really feel like the chems DESERVE it. In mean , it's time to show the world who are the real good artist out there instead of giving 5 awards to justim timberlike or who ever.

I think the Chems are very much appreciated especially in the UK - 6 shows at Brixton in one year has gotta count for some amount of appreciation! ;)



South America seems to dig them as well, and lots of Europe - hell, they even got some love in Turkey (still would love to read any kind of review from their gig in Istanbul)



The place where I think the Chems are sadly a bit underappreciated is in the U.S.. But it seems the situation is largely demographic. We know there's Chems fans here but the US is so large, it's farther between - you know? On the upside, the small handful of shows they've done here this tour have gone over well and let me just say, I certainly appreciate them and I think everyone in attendance at the gig I was at appreciated them.



Anyway - my vote is in. Let's see the Chems get some love!!!

I agree whirly , but i mean come on, they play all this fucking bad video's on mtv all day long , 8 times a day the same , i never see a Chems video. For example. That's what i mean with under appreciated.

Hopefully they'll manage to get at least one! Depends who they're up against because the general public overall really do like shite music!

Mtv isn't worth watching over here. Everytime I turn it on, that Laguna Beach: The Real O.C. show is on.



Mtv2 really isn't much better. I like an odd episode of Pimp My Ride but it seems everytime I flip on Mtv2, that show is on. And there's a really weird, fucked up show Wondershowzen which has it's moments but is prone to give me nightmares.



I want my Mtv. Like how it was when it first came on the air (and yes, I'm an old fart who remembers that day! :P ) Or at least bring back AMP, that wonderful program that showcased all electronic acts and played all these amazing videos. Even though it was on at 3am Sunday/Monday - at least it was better than nothing being shown at all!!



So anyway, even if I do think Mtv is little more than a bastion of fecal matter 90% of the time, I still like the awards because at least that's when the focus and recognition is on the music and videos. As it was and always should be for a music television station...

Yeh i thhought the old mtv was more appealing than the new one.. i hardly ever watch tv and when i do i dont watch mtv

1. i dont have it

2. it gets worse everytime



I used to enjoy watching Beavis and Butthead and celiberty deathmatch.. those were the 'old days' i love the most :/
