Ariza is 50 percent in 3-point land and him going against Turkoglu will be his challenge. Bynum needs to bring his A-game, but more importantly, grab boards. Gasol and Kobe know what to do, Fisher needs to find his shot, and most importantly, get a double team on Dwight if he gets too close to the ball cause you don't want him to score 30 or 40 points on high percentage shots.

Prediction...Lakers in 5 games!

C'mon Jittem! This is the only time where you get to get on the Laker bandwagon and be a Laker fan for life! ;-)

I wonder if the Chems can squeak in a DJ Set in L.A.

....Well....It could happen!

^ Oh how I wish... but unfortunately it seems the Chems squeezing in another So. California dj set at this juncture is as likely as winged primates bursting forth from my anus and taking flight.

*sigh*

yea my friends and i watched game 1...lol it was a blowout. "kobe time". Lakers shut down Dwight Howard hard in that game.

However game 2 was a good, it went into overtime

final score was 101- 96, Lakers won.

I wonder what the results are going to be like for the next two games...as they are in orlando.

lol btw, nice comment whirly :P

50/50 chance...or am I asking to much?

Nocturnal Festival is around the corner Whirls, but for some reason, I got this funny feeling,or instinct, that there could be a possibility of getting the bros to come, plus they haven't added any acts yet because the promoters are focusing on EDC on the 26th of this June(I will be making a last minute decision to go there) But we'll just have to wait and see.

I was crapping in my pants on that last play Jittem! It was that play when Courtney Lee (He has a girly name lol!) missed that ally-oop layup which would of costed the Lakers of losing home court advantage. But Gasol saved us in OT, so now were up 2-0 in the series. SWEEEP!

Actually Jittem, the next 3 games are in Orlando.

Odd weekend.

I wish people put more effort into being honest and straightforward.

Saw The Hangover. 7/10. It had some really funny moments, but as a whole the movie sucked. I'm able to extend my disbelief for a lot, especially a movie where it's -supposed- to be ridiculous, but there was something about it that cause me to say, "really?"

Honesty and straightforwardness are underrated virtues, particularly in business.

As for me, watched Nobel Son - ok film, but good soundtrack. Pleasantly surprised to have Come Inside and Surface to Air on the soundtrack.

Chemical goodness on that soundtrack--nice.

I think the best film where I've seen a Chemical aural appearance has been Lost in Translation. It's a fitting moment.

You know in all my time on the forum, I don't recall anyone having ever compiled a list of movies, tv shows, porn and commercials/adverts that featured a Chemical Brothers song.... Hmmm *stroke chin*

Here's some off the top of my head (to add to Lost In Translation)

The Saint

Tomb Raider

Queer Eye For The Straight Guy (the Slow remix)

That hand job porno that Darkstarexodus posted a while back

xXx (at least I remember they were, even though they didn't appear on the released soundtrack)

I'm a bit pressed for time since it's my lunch break at the moment. Who else wants to take a stab?

@ inchem -

I'm not sure I'd bank on a 50/50 chance of Insomniac Events getting it together enough to bring the Chems out to do a dj set at Nocturnal Wonderland. Live is one thing, a dj set is quite another I think... Plus, when the Chems did the last Nocturnal, Insomniac didn't have a proper venue lined up til what... 2 weeks before the event? And even still, Carl Cox's dj set got an early slot and Paul Van Dyke was the headliner (a crying shame if you ask me - his sets are nowhere in the same league as Tom and Ed)

Frankly I am amazed Insomniac pull off more than 1 event a year. I mean, I am glad they're still bringing people out to rave but they are sorely lacking in the organization department.

The last time the Chems did a dj set for an Insomniac event was Audiotistic in 2003. And even though I had a fantastic time there right at the front and the song selection was cool n'all, it was not a good night for the boys. The crowd were tough.

I would love to be wrong if only because I'd hate another 5+ years to pass before the Chems did another dj set in So. California.

I guess we'll have to wait and see. I sure could use another night out with the Chems!

Don't forget Whirls, 'The Summer Clearance Event at Toyota' commercial is around the corner, and you know what that means. He He!

Having the Turkey sandwich and Veggie soup for lunch. A great day to be off!

Hmm, for some reason my last post got skipped and went in the wrong order. WEIRD!

Anyway, There was no way that the Chems would of got to close out Nocturnal ( I really wanted it that way too) but all the kids wanted to see PVD, thats why they (Insomniac) put them last and the Chems before them. And to be honest, the crowd was more packed than it ever was when PVD came on. This was the 2nd time i've seen PVD, but he did a special live set that night and it was deliciously good.

But I still think the Chems were on top that night of course. Only the adults came to see them, and the kids got PVD. I guess you got to reach different age demographics when promoting in LA!

It's not just the Insomnia promoters that can bag a Chems DJ Set for Nocturnal or Together as One, there's also promoters Nitrus, which is doing the HARD Summer Festival(UNDERWORLD LIVE, CHROMEO, CROOKERS, CRYSTAL CASTLES) and the october HARD Haunted Mansion (Deadmau5 already confirmed headliner), And secondly, you got Giant, which does the 'Maximus' event on new years eve!

So the Chems do got a fair shot just like any other DJ act that's out right now to get a show by the end of the year. Maybe I am asking too much (opps to late!) but right now, I really need another 'Chemical' fix! I'm not that motivated right now to see any other shows unless the Bros hop on.

hey at least you guys are given the chance to witness a chems dj set....living in the southern hemisphere has its drawbacks lol.

and im drawing blanks for the rest..

Yeah, you're right about the kids wanting to see PVD. I guess in my perfect world, the Chems have the red carpet rolled out for them and they close out all big shows. hehehe. We were about 30 or 40 feet from the stage and it was jammed (lots of kids, too) and if Paul Van Dyke was even more packed then I'm glad I bolted as his set began because I would have been flattened.

I didn't mean to sound ungrateful at all about the Chems playing an Insomniac event - I'm so glad they did because we got the opportunity to see the Chems. That whole night goes down as one of the best nights of my life... And if they play another Insomniac event you won't hear me complain too loudly (unless something happens to go terribly amiss, ha).

As for not being motivated to see any other shows - I'm with you on that. At least not the big festivals and such. But that's more for personal reasons and where I'm at right now in the moment as far as life is concerned.

Wait a minute... Giant is still around? Dang. I've seriously been living under a rock!

I honestly don't get this whole Paul van Dyke hype. He seems so big in the states.
