Here we go again with the same discussion.

I dont think the chems themselves have anything to do with the price and it always sounds like they are blamed.

But it is a lot tough...I agree. BUT IT'S WORTH EVERY FUCKING CENT!

Where is this gig anyway. The gigs in London were like 20 Pounds wich is normal price 8O [/b]

Only $40K?!?!

if I won the lottery, &c... I'd gladly pay 3 or 4 times that to get a private Chems gig.

You guys sound like that's a lot or something. That's meager money, especially considering the cost of what they do. Half of that goes to the guys who handle the set.

And what's with all the people in their aghast at revealing the price? There are websites with this kind of stuff listed. 311 charges 50k a show- I think Britney Spears was at 500k, last time I looked.

Jeanie, they're saying that it costs $40,000 american dollars to book the chemical brothers to play an event.

Like, if you wanted tom & ed at your birthday party.

My personal favourite:

IF ANYBODY EXPERIENCED THE CHEM BROS LIVE @ ALLSTATE, THEN THEY WOULD SEE WHY IT IS WORTH EVERY CENT

R U that stupid? As stated before in this thread, it wasn't live. Get it through your thick skull. THey played a dat and jumped around behind their machines.

He put on a turn-down collar, a black bow, and wore his Sunday tail-coat. As such, he looked spruce, and what his clothes would not do, his instinct for making the most of his good looks would.

When i saw them live, I was as close to see that they were truely playing...

But i've been wondering : is there another electro band who do the same live ?

say the 40 grand is for a dj set not live say 100,000 plus expenses for a live gig
