I'm one step away from ordering my plane tickets...

Found some amazing fares.

Can anybody tell me if the Olympia gig tickets are still available on www.seetickets.com? If they are I'm likely to fly to the UK...I'll be in Brussels in 3 weeks and I could buy the tickets and the flight seats right when I am back (and if I don't eat too many mussels and chocolate:D)...Just one holiday at a time!

Olympia tickets are still available through www.ticketmaster.co.uk.

I'm still trying to book my flight... The fares keep going up and down, and I'm trying to catch them on the down...

Thanks MadPoster! So no more ticktes on www.seetickets.com, right? As to flights, I'm lucky enough to live close to a major airport - to tell the truth the Italian airport with the lowest fares to London! Maybe you sould start considering moving here :)

I would move there before the hat hit the ground if I spoke Italian and knew the Italian legal system.

Pooter, the best round trip non-stop fares I've seen so far were for Virgin airlines thru priceline.com. I checked American Airlines, British Airways, Continental - all were slightly more expensive but I'm going to play the same game you are and try to snag the fares on the downlow. Where have you been checking for fares?

All I gotta say is hopefully Terminal 5 will have their shit in gear by summertime. ;)

British Air and Virgin were the best deals I've seen so far, yeah. A friend of mine said TravelZoo.com is really awesome. Lets you find super low fares despite it's shady web page look.

Learning Italian is no problem at all. Knowing the Italian legal system is instead THE problem - nobody knows it, believe me...

Whirls--www.kayak.com

I saw some awesome fares on US Airways a little while back, but keep checking on them. A little under $1400 was the cheapest for 2 round trips tickets I've seen...

Confirmed!!! I talked to my dad, who traveled a lot when he worked (and now he's about to go out of retirement to work in Africa), and he said he'd spot the flight with his frequent flier miles. I might have to take a funky flight there, but as long as I get from point A to point B. Biff is happy!

Hi all...

I've gone and done something REALLY stupid!!! I kinda got a wee bit swept up in all the Glastonbury ticket buying frenzy and bought myself a ticket to the Big G FROM OZ!!! I am flying back on June 15th for a wedding and then going to Glastonbury a week later then flying back to Oz on July 2nd...sooooooo....

going to Olympia doesnt look like its going to happen unless I go COMPLETELY barmy and fly back AGAIN!!!! For another 1000 quid just for the Chems!!! Oh feck..what have I done???

Here I am listening to the Glasto Set on Youtube and still regretting my decision! Oh well...kinda gutted they not playing Glasto UNLESS they are one of the many special guests! Anyone have a clue about that?

IF I earn enough wonga...I MAY in an UTTER UTTER fit if UTTER UTTER madness return 6 weeks later! But I cant realistically see that happening especially as I have a job I need to do! Oh bugger!

Someone slap me!

Soooo there are probably 2 spare tix going in the UK at my parents house if anyone is looking...but watch this space...:-)

Peace and love and Chemical goodness xxx

Thats just madness.

There will be more gigs, you're not gonna die if u miss out on one gig :-P

Just emjoy Oz man! I wish i was there! And i would not even think of flying back 8-)

Hi folks!

Has anyone here already made some experience with seeticket.com? Is it usual and common that their tickets are meant to be picked up at the venue the day the gig takes place??? The guy who bought me 2 tickets showed me their e-mail reply which says we have to. That's kinda weird imo - and fucking annoying if it's true!

I can totally see where Lucy is coming from. :P And I can't say I blame her for considering the trip and expense for Olympia because me n'stash are currently in the same boat trying to figure out how we can make this work.

So Lucy - you are a crazy lass but I can relate!!!

I've had that happen here in the States a number of times, but if you opted for mail it would be weird, indeed.

Csar - yeah, venue pickup is common and given what happened last time (Roundhouse) with See posting tickets that never arrived, I'd say it's the better option. I guess the only worry is if you Stateside guys have odd credit cards that expire and stuff... :S
