Radio 1 will broadcast Sasha and Digweed's DJ set from Renaissance early Sunday morning (very early). I'm posting this 'cos Sahsa might play some of the new Chems stuff he was given a while ago. We can only hope. :)

SASHA INVOLVER ALBUM TOUR

This summer Sasha is set to tour the world in support of his highly anticipated album for Global Underground, Involver.

Sonically, Involver meets the listener smack at the point where Sasha?s 2002 artist album Airdrawndagger and the future of electronic music collide. This is Sasha?s first mix compilation in nearly 5 years and his first full-length release since the acclaimed Airdrawndagger.

As an album it completely and perfectly integrates the concept of the DJ mix compilation and the producer / artist album. Every single track is an original Sasha remix or re-creation that has been exclusively recorded as an original piece for this project.

He called upon some of his closest friends and peers including Felix Da Housecat, UNKLE and Ulrich Schnauss and asked for permission to recreate, especially for this album, one or more of their songs.

Sasha Involver is released:

June 14: UK and Rest Of The World

June 22: USA and Canda

Any chance the 'unknowns' are new Chems tunes?
He put on a turn-down collar, a black bow, and wore his Sunday tail-coat. As such, he looked spruce, and what his clothes would not do, his instinct for making the most of his good looks would.

I haven't listened to the mix properly, I've just skipped every five minutes and none of it sounds like the Chems unfortunately :( .
