I have desperately looking for "Within your Reach" by Trail of Dead (which is a Replacements cover). It was only published on vinyl (10" Festival Thyme EP), never seen it anywhere online. Anyone has? Any recommendations where to find it when google etc. have all failed?
Thanks.
Btw. Iggy, you have asked me for Be Yourself by Avril. Going to send it to your email soon if you still have the gmail one

You would be incorrect.
Cheers GoldenBoys, I wasn't sure if you got my email address as I used the message boards integrated system which doesn't always work.

Whirly did not confirm this when we had the question as to the original thread coming up yesterday.

Didn't work in this case either (it's a problem which needs fixing) but you left it on some forum member's profile where by chance I saw it earlier today

Nah, I don't think it was closed because of any specific reason.
Mods and admins also have the ability to hide (unapprove) posts and even whole threads that have non-no's in them. There's nothing in the old thread that indicates that kind of action was taken, so I just think it's on perma-lock and was caught in a glitch when we switched over to the new forum.
I don't want to discourage anyone from talking about and sharing music especially if it's super rare, out of print or hard to get stuff. But please use your better judgment and be discreet. It doesn't look good for us or the Chems if there's a file sharing thread on their forum. I think sometimes we forget how visible we really are... If you're unsure, trade emails or communicate thru other avenues. I say this with my utmost respect and admiration for you guys, but please above all else, THIS still applies and will always apply here on the Chems forum. My job's not to tell you what you should and shouldn't post, my job is to make sure the site is secure and my children (you guys) stay out of trouble.
Love,
Mom

He doesn't know the meaning of discreet.
You're right Whirly. I know of a safe place on Facebook where we can commit all the crime we want and nobody can stop us! YEAH!

so, when naming this "sharing music" I had the very old-school idea that someone says "I've got this tune" when someone else asks for a specific song - the rest can be dealt with bilaterally. anyone who associates "sharing" automatically with illegal actions is paranoid or part of the music industry I am more than happy to pay for music and report abuses to the admins and mods. those who use this thread for illegal activities shall die through the hand of [your favourite horror movie killer here].
also iggy, will you behave or I am never going to send you porn anymore!

Ugh, why would you do that? 320 or nothing! I can't believe I am in the company of someone who thinks a Youtube audio rip is acceptable.
