I have a couple of signed CD covers, so I know they sign stuff, so how do I get them to sign my copy of Further when they come to Aus?

If there are ways, please tell me. I will do "almost" anything to make this happen.

Pffft, that's nothing, Tom and Ed signed my both boobs respectively while making a gig in my bedroom and giving me exclusive non-released B-Sides and EBW's. Beat that!

You have way too much time on your hands, all that to make a fool of me. Your wasting your time, I can do that without any help.

Anyway, I am serious about this thread if anyone has any info.

Sorry, I just couldn't help it.
I'm sure it would take a lot of dedication to get a real autograph. But I also know that there's a good number of people here who have actually managed to meet up with them after shows! If you're heading to a gig with any of the longtime members here, you may be able to pull some strings.

Thanks Champiness. OK I need some strings. Someone throw me some strings! Who has met Tom and Ed before and is going to any of the Aus gigs?

Hmmm ... some incentive needed. What will it take. If I can get an extra copy of Further signed it'll be yours!

You'll need a lot of luck, that's all i can tell you. Mostly it happens spontaenously, the only way i know you could meet Tom and Ed for a short time is to apply as a volunteer on a festival and pray to get an all access ticket. I applied to be their host on EXIT festival, wasn't picked, a girl from Serbia got to be their host FOR A WHOLE DAY! I would kill for an opportunity like that.

@Igorchete: Thanks, maybe a festival volunteer is the way to go. I have a few friends in security, maybe they can pull a few strings too.

@Champ: Probably a stupid thread anyway, it deserved your humor.

I get excited over this sort of thing, you long term fans would know better.

You could do what Irishfan does - watch them, when they think think they're alone you have your eyes on their every move. He also collects the rubbish they put in bins and licks them whilst furiously masterbating. That's how you get an autograph, anything less than that will prove futile.
