Oh mayn! Last night was crazy! I was celebrating my birthday and got completely fooked. Ended up getting chucked out of the club for giving myself a shower :? with a glass of water or something. I then was pushed face down in a puddle outside by a couple of 'mates' and then went to Subway resulting in my covering my top in sweetcorn and mayonaise.

Got home, was sick for hours and hours. Just puked again 5 mins ago. I don't remember much really, my mates are telling me things and i'm getting more and more embarred by the minute :-//

oh what a twat X-D

Eek, sounds like it sucked.

Nights like that walk a fine line. I tend to think that the line of amusing fun and total mess were crossed on this occasion, but that's Iggy's right to decide. :D

At any rate, good effort put in, Iggy mate! :D

this is what i've been told so far what happened that night:

-> I rubbed beef on my face

-> spat water everywhere (what i got chucked out for)

-> hugged a dustbin

-> tried rapping to a song while my mate was videoing me

yeah i'm staying in for a while

Here's a video of Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard looking like a bit of a ponce, but actually having a good time at Garlands. Apparently many of the Liverpool players, such as Crouch and Cisse and Gerrard are regulars there.

I've also seen pics in Mixmag of a terrified looking David Beckham DJing at The End.

Sounds like good times, Bosco. Nothing like hearing tales of "way back in my day..."!

The Charlatans are coming to town soon, I really want to see them. But why, God? Why? Why the hell do the Charlatans have to play in Orange Count on a friggen Wednesday night??!!

:?

I was out at a mate's house last night, and when I returned today I found my mum cleaning out my room }:-@ Ok, it did need doing but it's always annoying as it took me an hour to put it all back. Anyway, I laid the guilt on mum a little and she agreed to help.

In the course of her giving me a hand to sort things out, she found the closest thing I've ever had to a 'stash' - a jiffy bag with a couple of packet of herbal pills in them 8O I got them while I was at uni, had a couple while I was there, but when I graduated I brought the rest home. I was sure I'd thrown them out last year sometime when I decided I wasn't gonna use them, but apparently I hadn't. Mum just said "did you want this jiffy bag?" and a moment of dread hit me, then I thought 'it's alright, I binned the pills ages ago', but I quickly took it off her and low and behold there were 2 packs in there! :( She didn't react, just carried on as normal so I may have got away with it, I hope I have. They were the worst kind as well - the psychedelic variety (well advertised on the pack)

God damn it, why did I throw them out when I thought I had?!?

Well Jeanie, next time you're out in California hopefully we'll have more time to see some sights.

chemicalfan, I understand the tight spot you're in. I never wanted to do anything to cause conflict with my parents, I was generally a good kid even though I did sneak a few things (I told my mom years later why my room smelled like incense when I was 17 and 18!!) To this day I'm the type of person who tries to avoid conflict at all costs and there is this ingrained fear of their disapproval - and I'm 34, I won't even smoke a cigarette in front of my dad. And there are many many things my folks don't want to know and I like it that way.... Anyway, I think in your case it was more clinging to those remnants of childhood when we all want to be good boys and girls in our parents' eyes, it's obvious you still respect your mother and care what she thinks. Even though you still live under her roof and you have to abide, to a certain extent, by her rules - the fact remains you are a grown man who leads his own life and and makes his own decisions. Judging by your mom's reaction to finding your stash, I think she probably realizes this. I wouldn't worry about it - but I can feel your sinking "oh God, noooooooooooo!!!" embarassment a continent away! hahaha!! I suppose if anything this is incentive to clean up your own room! ;)

If my mum ever went in my room and found my collection she'd phone the police. It's got to be illegal to have that much!

Wow Whirly those pics are awesome, I'll have to go out to Joshua Tree next time I come to California ;-) .

Went to Alton Towers today with some mates, had a good time. The Nemesis is probably still the most exhilarating roller coaster I've been on, I was shaken up for about 30 mins afterwards!!

Think my tolerance of roller coasters is lowering, I had a headache after going on each one!! 8O

some photos (not mine):
