Forgive me if i am stateing the obvious but i thought i would let you guys know. According to channel 4 teletest 351(about two days ago) Tim burgess will appear on new album. I think this is very good, but its a shame they only played life is sweet together at wolves.

Dont get me wrong iguanapunk i did appreiate how rare guest are at the live shows and the track performed live, but i was saying it would of been good to here anew live track with vocals from Tim! i think it has to do with co-ordination more than anything most of this years tour dates the charlatans were also playing. but it would be great for bernard summer etc to play with them. reminding people that the emas are on soon so that means mtv will be repeating last years show with the chems and the flaming lips live will be on soon.

If you do a search you will find multiple threads about this - I think the best bit is when official people at the Charlatans forum said the track sounds like New Order at their funkiest!

Incidentally was life is sweet live any different to the album version? Was it easy to understand the vocals?!

This is gonna sound weird, but ages ago when m2f said they took the track together to Tim, did he mean the track is called "Together" or that Tom and Ed took it to Tim together? :?

p.s I am not drunk. :)

There is no comparison between Tim Burgess and Autechre. If you want to compare, compare Tim Burgess with Noel Gallegar or some other professional singer and compare Autechre with Aphex Twin or BOC or some other experimental band.

I would loveAutechre to remix one of chems track how cool would that be ? I'll tell you - supercool.
