You know, this is what it's all about - this thread right here. I am so incredibly happy for every one of you that got to share this incredible moment. The music has always been about being enjoyed together. And these reviews! Actually everything that's transpired over the year, all the music, the gigs, the times when internet strangers met and became freinds - all of it came to a beautiful head last night... and in this thread. It makes me all warm and happy inside.



It really is fuckin amazing, like the stuff of dreams. And you guys that have been thinking of stash and me - Bless you. I truly and honestly feel like I was there in spirit.

I was gonna write part 2 of my review but i think its allready been doen well enough. The Champagne indcident will def get me remembered! As Tom passed me the glass I hit I was knocked forward, quite embarrassing! Really enjoyed chatting to the brothers, thank you for taking the time to chat to us at the end.

I had such a great time on nye - best NYE ever! The Chems rocked it!



I'm so gutted I didn't get to meet u guys again - I could see u guys (i recognised Jeanie in her stripey top and chemical fan with his Tom - esque hair! ) on the podium in front of the DJ booth and I was on top of the stairs to the left of the booth. But man, it was sooo packed and there was no way I was gonna be able to squeeze my butt to teh front like that. I was gonna come over and say hello when the chems had finished and it was less busy but you had disappeared!



The music was fantastic, it was really back to 88 party spirit and everyone was up for it (apart from the girl who was grinding up against her boyfriend next to me! Maybe she was hearing Jodeci - I dunno!) The lights were fantastic, I managed to get a couple of photos, which you can see here:

And I got some short video footage - about 15/20 seconds each - which although you cant see very much, you can really see the vibe of whats going on and you can hear the music! I'll post links to these and some chems footage of Sonar when I can find a site which will host them. if you look really closely at one point you can see you guys on the podium!



I stuck around til 4ish (I was really tired from working all day), I really wanted to check out Jon Carters set, does anyone know what time he played? I thought James Holroyd was wicked too, go to hear much more of him than at the Brixton gig...



My boyfriend would really appreciate it if anyone knows the set list that the Chems played? Theres a few a really acidy tracks that he would like to get hold of it! He won the Mixmag DJ competition and will be playing a warm up set at Turnmills around feb/march and would like to play some of those choons.... I know Erotic Discourse, Royksopp, and of course the Chems tracks!



I'm so jealous that you got to meet Ed!
