Bjork- Bachelorette

I only own Bjork's - Greatest Hits album as of right now (untill i get that box set)....but this is by far my favorite tune from her and from this album.

Strong tune, Strong tune indeed.

Its funny because I use to bad mouth Bjork. So much for that. :P

That's an awesome CD. Do you have the hardcover with these weird images on it?

Bachelorette is really great. Also love the first track "All Is Full Of Love" and "Hyperballad".

But as for her albums they all were a little disappointing to me, a little boring.

Justin Timberlake - My Love (The DFA Remix)

An example of utterly stellar remix, these guys always rock the boat! Each and every DFA remix I heard impressed me in its own way. Gotta say the original version isn't half bad either - MUCH better than the stupidly annoying Sexyback. Euro-trance synths do work in r&b.

thats the one!

I thought it was a really fake bootleg when I first saw it (especially cause of the cover). But turns out it was the real thing. Was pretty Suprised they left off "It's Oh So Quiet". Not that its my favorite, but it would have probably sold more copies.

MSTRKRFT - Live at Transmusicalles Rennes 2006 (live DJ set)

Really good so far. Pretty much what they played when I saw them. Lots of their own tunes, their remixes, etc. Nothing too difficult or challenging, but a very good, straight-forward 90-minute burst of French-influenced electro.

Chris Isaak - Wicked Games (Trentemoller remix)

A stunning track turned into dubby, sexual omnipotence. Like the Chems remix of Kylie's 'Slow', this makes me want to get it on until the break of dawn. So does most of the Trentemoller Essential Mix. Dark dub reggae with those deep, rhythmic basslines. In the case of 'Wicked Games', it's just such an iconic song, with the standout guitar, plaintiff vocals and memories of the steamy video.

Nine Inch Nails - Happiness in Slavery (Fixed version)

This is great and, to be honest, I think would slot into many a current electro set these days. Well-produced, well ahead of its time, and features the tortured sounds of misery artist Bob Flanagan (RIP).

Great mix, isn't it?

Soulwax - Light and Magic (w/bonus tracks) (album)

Seventeen is a great track, esp. the Soulwax mix. Lots of other solid tunes, but the overall tone of the album is a bit monotonous after a while.
