Does live audio/video exist/circulate from this show?? The date was 7-24-99... I found an audince recording of it along with Mobys set and some of Fatboy Slim's set. Its not the best qulity but I thought I remembered there was some MTV coverage and also local radio, but I dont know if it was ever circulated. Can anyone comment???

Ah yes, the MTV telecast of the Chems at Woodstock.

I remember when I saw it, it was pretty late at night/early morning (summer), it was the first time I was introduced to the Chems. However, just to note, my interest never clicked with the chemical brothers till i saw the Star Guitar music video 2 years later on MTV2. But anyways, like i was saying, I do remember that they played "hey boy hey girl" and they showed Tom (still with the long hair at the time) and ED rocking out behind a whole bunch of electronic equipment with millions of wires. And if it werent for the flickering lighting/visuals they had during their set, i would have probablly switched the channel to something different, but I was completly transfixed with the ocean of people and those damn flickering lights.

But yeah, thats all i have to add.....sorry BC, i got no torrent info about the event X-D

PS. thanks for the daft punk set at coachella.......fucking fantastic! your a legend!

but with a snip-snip-snippy-snip
gave his mop a chop,
Old man hairstyles are a flop.

There are 2 versions of this set in audio that I know of. One is a recording of the show (I believe lifted from the TV version) that is good quality but not the whole set. Second there is that audience recording version of the entire set. There is video of Block Rockin Beats on the woodstock DVD, but it is of limited value since it really shows the chems for 2 seconds.

Bosco, are you sure you're not thinking of the Red Rocks concert of the chems they aired on MTV (not to be mistaken with that special of a similar title that is common)? That one I have around somewhere I believe...

it might have been, but i dont think so, because my memory says it looked nothing like the one in the singles "93-03" DVD

and the one i saw, I think they telivised more then one of the chems songs.... I wanna say they were aired on telivision for maybe 30 mins. But I could be wrong

the audio is available on my FTP:

ftp://public:chemica...ical.hd.free.fr

If someone has the video, it would be nice if you could upload it in the video section ;)

Oh god.... That's the same version of the set that's on the FTP. I don't think that person's on this board. They've uploaded like 200 chem sets, none of which are originals... all of them are stolen from the ftp, soulseek, or even the mixing bowl. For anyone that looks there for actual new stuff, this person, YipYap25, is about as annoying as their name sounds. Plus they're only doing it because they have a crappy share ratio.
