And John Williams gets two nominations... Doesn't he own too many oscars already ?

I hope The Artist wins

Didn't hear the scores for those two movies, but Williams's music ist mostly excellent - so i don't think if someone already have had two or more oscars he's 'out of the game'.

Same here, but I still haven't checked Hugo, Tree of Life, Midnight in Paris, Warhorse.

I haven't checked any of these films, but it's not everyday that a French movie gets 10 nominations :)

Midnight in Paris is awesome. Very funny on so many levels and pretty philosophical. I've seen it a few times, Hemmingway fans will appreciate it.

AHHHHHHH!!!!! Every single song is different than the album! Extra stuff too!

Edit:
The Forest is quieter and much 'fringier'
Escape From Camp G is the full Escape Wavefold/500 mix.
Quayside Synthesis = the stripped version on the site.
There's over 9 minutes of The Sandman in total, The Sandman, 2, and Campsite.
The Sandman 2 is a longer/different mix of Marissa Flashback.
Bahnhof Rumble is new and longer.
Teeth Cleaning is extra material from Marissa Flashback.
Container Park is much longer and has the 'pulses'.
The Devil Is In The Details is present 3 different times: The Devil Is In The Details, The Devil Is In The Exit, and Spinning Bar Whistle.
Lonesome Subway is unmixed and slightly longer.
Under The Bed has more of the CP pulses.
Internet Cafe = Hanna, the unreleased track
Car Chase (Arp Worship) = the unreleased Erik Heller/Stagger version
Hanna vs Marissa = the version on the site, strangely not the slightly longer one in the movie with the synth solo.
Grandmother's House and Hanna vs Marissa Part II are both that completely awesome "Closure" track.
The Devil Is In The Beats is slighly different in the intro.

This is awesome.

So I'm really late on this, but I love this soundtrack. The movie has grown on me after watching it a second time. I absolutely love the container park scene and the final scene in the theme park.

But I'm deeply interested to know if we will be able to see more tracks similar to the style of the soundtrack in future studio albums. "Container Park" is outstanding. That wailing screech sound sends shivers down my spine when I hear it. And those crescendos are so captivating. An attention grabbing song for sure.
