Did anyone watch the Bill O'Reily VS John Stewart debate? It was brilliant! I wish UK politics was this interesting.

Stewart was brilliant against Bill, as always. I'm watching american presidential race with interest, I found it fascinating that Americans are divided as much as Croatians here, as whole world is at the moment, it seems.

Question for Americans here: How much political influence Jon has?

I really enjoyed American Horror Story, except for the last episode which was like "oh, the end scene after 10 minutes. wait, another scene. and again a final scene. what? another scene?" there were at least 10 proper ending scenes - 1 every 5 minutes.

and talking of politics, I hope everyone here watches The Thick Of It. Hmmm although I'm not sure if foreigners could relate to it.

Yeah, that show was pretty good, and your right, the final was bizarre. Just saw that S02 just started.

Haven't heard of that one, is it seriously about politics, or taking the piss out of it?

I've been watching Revolution, the new JJ Abrams show, and it's pretty good. Dexter's new season is becoming quite mental, the last two episodes were some of the best they have done in quite a long time. I started watching Homeland too. The first season was not as good as what I expected after everything I heard, but the second is on a good way.

Both. It's not a direct parody of our Government but it follows the same line. Armando did an American show called VEEP with "Elaine" from Seinfeld which was again about politics but it was nowhere near as good as The Thick of it. You don't really need to start from the beginning, you can just jump in where you like if you want.

p.s. I hate J.J. Gaybrams!

With you on that one. His whole style of dragging out a show by pretending you will find out the answer next episode is just plain annoying. It wouldn't be so bad if you did find something out. And the violins at the end of each scene ... fuck those violins.

Panique au Village (A town called panic). It's one of the funniest movies ever. It's belgian, in stop motion with old figure toys. Here it is with english subtitles, but be warned : it's very special and probably 90% of people won't find it funny (plus, most of the fun is passed through the voices, intonations and accents of the characters, so it might lose a lot with subtitles)

That looks quite promising! I was unsure whether it was a good idea to bring it back.
