Howdy y'all.

What music software do you use to create music?

Fruity Loops? Reason? Other?

What do you like about these program and why?

What don't you like about these programs and why?

I have Fruity Loops, Sound Forge, and Acid Pro and am thinking of buying Reason. I used a demo of Reason and it seemed to be a good deal more 'intuitive' than Fruity Loops.

What are your opinions?

Thanks in advance for any and all input!

I like FL Studio, although I only played about with a demo of it. I use Cubase and Ableton Live for sequencing - haven't deciding which one I like best, it seems to be a compromise!! The good thing about both of them is they can host VSTs, so there is an infinite amount of free instruments, effects, and processors than can be downloaded for them. Reason is not upgradeable - the synths you get are the ones you're stuck with. And Reason costs more than a copy of Cubase SE.

Cubase is harder to learn (by quite a bit), but it's so worth it as it's possibilities are endless!!
