Are the drums right at the start of It Doesn't Matter original or sampled? Because I've really been getting into Aphex Twin recently and he has sampled the drums too at the start of his song "PWSteal.Ldpinch.D".

That's the great think/problem with drum machines, when two major electronic artists make songs using the same one they sound a bit alike. Here's a demo, i think the hi-hat for idm is transposed:
