Wont give too much away, but the introduction has changed a bit, a few songs have been dropped and arrangement of some of the tracks has changed, I though it was quite breaky at the start.
Went to Digital afterwards which was really good, would recommend to anyone who wants a night out in Newcastle.
Hope everybody else seeing them this weekend has a good as time as I did.

Thank you for taking the time to write. Your time in doing so is greatly appreciated. Unfortunately, there is not enough specific detail given in regard to the show you were blessed to witness first hand. I understand that the reason for such a short review is because you don't want to spoil any "surprises", however what you've written is quite a tease.
After very little thought, I feel it would be in this forum's best interest if you could perhaps elaborate a little bit more when you get a moment. I am certain the good people here would be most grateful for your time and consideration.
Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter and we hope to hear from you soon.
Sincerely,
whirlygirl

The intro ? between 'tomorrow never knows? and ?hey boy hey girl?, there was a pulsating ball visual on the screen which had sound to coincide with it.
The was only one large screen, behind them, plus the smaller screens on the stage, they still have all the lasers and the other common visuals, policeman, blocking rocking beats dancing man, miner strikes, EBW7 clown, equations, etc.
The sprung dance floor at the academy was really good too.
I might be wrong, I about the songs that were missed out, just because I was not playing too much attention I was just having a good time but I am almost positive I did not heard ?come inside? because I would or remembered it even more so because its visuals, nether did I heard hoops or the private psychedelic reel.
I don?t like to give long reviews because I tend to spot the bad things more then the good things because I have seen them many times before, plus I think it might rune it for other people, for example before I went to Brixton in march the set had already been posed here, so it left little to surprise once I got there.
After the gig at digital, they played a lot of Chemical Brothers tracks, it was really fun, the light system they have is ace, and there was just more space to more around.
I hope that was a slightly better review then the first.

The only differences were...
A new beginning to Hey Boy Hey Girl. Very cool build up
Music Responce instead of Come Inside. Not much change to it except a short sample of Come With Us at the start.
A short new track instead of Hoops. Sounds promising, quite powerful.
Chemical Beats instead of Electrobank.
Enjoy the gig tonight if you're going

I'm curious about the new material and the inclusion of older tracks - hearing how they mix it up and how the crowd responds.
The Push The Button tour has been an awesome ride, yeah? For those of you who've seen them a few times this tour, you've been watching the evolution of their live sets. Lucky!

I did notice a few new sounds here and there generally throughout the gig.
The new intro to HBHG builds out of the end of Tomorrow Never Knows. It remined my of the start of The Robots by Kraftwerk. Nice visuals to go along with it of spheres seperating and flying round each other. The way HBHG builds out of it was superbly done, really effective and got the crowd really up for it.

I know Hey Boy Hey Girl may seem a bit stale but it's such a crowd pleaser it would be a shame not to start a set with it! Good to know they've tweaked the song to hold interests and keep everyone on their toes.

i went to newcastle and then the next night went to glasgow....yeah pretty much the same except in newcastle they finished with the sunshine underground and in glasgow they finished with the private psychedelic reel.both blinding nights though.
wow!! it be nice to hear the sunshine underground as the set closser at bixton next saturday. i really love the reel. but i would be nice for a tempory change. it be great if on the next album they could come up with a track to really contest the real as the great show finaly. some powerful, dark, gritty, deep yet beuatiful.

I forgot to add that Hey Boy Hey girl, besides having the new intro, has been given a much needed face lift especially towards the end. They've changed the drums quite a bit and added a few new touches here and there, sounded great and much, much fresher. HBHG has started to sound a bit stale for me this year, genius track though it is.

yeah, i love as well the way they change parts of the songs with their incredible feeling of sounds and structures... Well ok HBHG is being played much but i think it's still the best intro they have (of it's originals) because of the crowd moving kicks right at the beginning . . . it's totally awesome. Makes me wanna move all the time, i could freak out to it . . .
Btw i also digged the "BGWIO" intro (Lollipop Festival rokkkkkkks yuhuhuhu), such a great thing. And it's nice to hear they make it a bit breakier, they're the best 'cause these are CHEMICAL BEATS!
