After much deliberation with a trial by jury, the verdict is in and Andy is going to both shows on the West Coast. Who else is in?

Currently, I have 3 spots available for a ride to and from LA if people want to join me. Let me know if you're coming to either show so we can meet up.

SF:

Biff

Me

LA:

Whirly

Stash (Makeskidskill)

Me

Igloo

Biff?

I made hotel plans already, because I wasn't expecting you or Biff to make it down. We're staying at the Standard, I heard from my neighbors that the last time these promoters did a big gig in LA, they had the afterparty on the rooftop bar at The Standard.

It's like $200 a night, you can get two beds for around there, if you guys want to split it. The day after the show, I insist you guys stay at our place.

I'd offer you guys floor space in our hotel room, but the place is pretty swank, and I dunno if we'd get away with sneaking more people in.

Oh how I'd love to go to the SF show, but we're utilizing our party points for LA. :P

Thanks to igloo for originally tipping us off about the Standard. It seems a nice place, and there is concern about security and sneaking people in like stash says. Plus there's the open bathroom issue and really I am somewhat modest, haha. The plus for me is that the place allows smoking - something that sounds trivial but in my world it's a must because when the event calls for it, I tend to reaaaaaaaalllly smoke like a chimney.

Anyhow - we have to meet up at some point!! Most definitely, it is a must. We'll have a good long time to hang. I would love to enjoy the show with you (and others like Biff and igloo of course). Oh yes! Bring it on, bring on September!!

For the aftermath, I can't say enough you are welcome over at our home anytime - mi casa et su casa - if you want to rest and refresh before enduring the long drive back up to San Francisco.

I'm not 100% sure about the LA show, but definitely going to San Francisco, have the tickets right here which I am holding on to tightly. If there are LA tix out there in a week or two I might go, I just got to figure out what is what. Hell I wouldn't mind sleeping in my car for that show.

@Biff--well if you decide to go to LA, you are welcome to ride along. As it is, let's meet up for the SF show, yeah?

@Whirly/Stash--I'd love to connect at some point on Saturday. Depending on my work schedule and a number of other things, I might stay until Monday.

So it looks like I could be back in the game on both of these as well. Do you still have an available spot in your car pooter?

I do, indeed. You're officially resereved a seat.

Biff has already contacted me and so it looks like there's only one seat left in my car, if anyone else needs a ride.

So now it's Biff, Bosco, and Pooter at the SF show. Anyone else?

Hey Biff, if you want shotgun go right ahead. As long as I can get transportation from San Fran to LA, I'll be a happy camper.

and Seth, I think im passing on the Denver date now that im pretty sure im going to Cali. So it will only be 3 out of the 6 dates. Still not shabby if you ask me ;)

Rockin' Bosco!!

And don't worry, there will be no smacking of anyone. Nothing of the sort. It will be a bonding, loved up moment. And I am looking forward to seeing the look on Bosco's face when Star Guitar is dropped, hehehe.

We must try to wrangle our way to as close to the front as possible.

Oooo - so excited!

it looks like im *almost* set... I think im going to san francisco right after the chicago gig (either tuesday 25th or wednesday 26th). My Uncle wants to take me fishing again to lake berryessa before the friday gig in San Fran.

Biff and Andy, do you guys wanna split a hotel in LA?

And I think im gonna fly home out of LA or Santa Ana on monday october 1st (airfare is cheaper)

Cool beans, Bosco - I am so glad you're making the most of the Chems coming to the States and you're making it out to LA!

Don't worry about a ride to the airport (LAX or John Wayne - that's what we call the Santa Ana airport here) on Monday the 1st. whirlygirl airport shuttle at your service... it won't be a vintage Rolls or DeLorean, but whatchya gonna do!

Hotel, yes. I'll go ahead and book us a room @ The Standard. More details to follow.

Jesus... things are coming together in an amazing, amazing way.
