Come on Slipvin, so what is wrong with Supernature? Is it a carbon copy of Black Cherry? or just crap?

Yeah, Slipvin, give some details. It can be brief, but it must be detailed. :P

I've yet to hear Goldfrapp's new one, but I loooooooooove Black Cherry. That album's got the moves in all the right places.

The Remarkable Bean Escribi:

Getting scared how narrow my music base is getting! I'm really into the Chems, more so Prodigy, but can't find anything to stimulate the in-betweens! Anyone recommend any leftfield artists, that i'm just too ignorant to know of?! By the way, i've got the usual stuff: Orbital, Leftfield etc etc.

I don't think anything will ever quite match the soaring ecstatic majesty that was Leftism... *sigh*

But I've enjoyed stuff this year from Mylo, Vitalic, Tiga, Ladytron, Soulwax, LCD Soundsystem, Sigur Ros, The Go! Team, Clor

Plus a lot of the best 'dance' (for want of a better label) music is happening underground - check out the best bootlegs / mashups / remixes / bastards on forums such as www.gybo.co.uk

I heard the Nathan Fake version of Silent Night (yes, the Christmas carol) a few days ago on Radio 1, it's pretty cool. It's IDM that I can handle, I liked it

The Presets!!!!

I saw them last night at the Gaelic club in Sydney and they blew my mind They're an aussie electro duo but its fucking sleazy, sinister stuff, they really work the crowd as well. My pill had pretty much worn off and i was dead before they even came on but they still had me dancing that hard!

Not new at all, but there's a french trip hop band called Alif Tree. There's often a woman voice singing in their songs, especially Rona Hartner, I think she sung on several songs for them. The best song to hear are :

Genes

Anapoda (with Rona Hartner singing a mix of many languages... weird !)

Funky Cloud

Solitude's Song

Thursty

Bleed in Vain

Urbus Voluptua

Here's Thirsty video :

Its not new music but alot of you guys seem to really love that acid underwater track which was played at NYE so u should give the Underwater Records Mix CDs a listen particularly Vol 4 mixed by Darren Emerson and Sharam Jey...

And if your in London, go to the nights which happen every 2 months at the end! Its pure acid/techy house! The first time I saw him was because I went to see teh Stanton Warriors in the back room but as I was leaving I saw the main room and my friends and I were like 'What the fuck is going on in here?!' It was going off. Proper!
