ROTK was fantastic. The trilogy was far better than Matrix Trilogy.

The first Matrix film was great though.
He put on a turn-down collar, a black bow, and wore his Sunday tail-coat. As such, he looked spruce, and what his clothes would not do, his instinct for making the most of his good looks would.

Agreed.

The Matrix would've been better off if the W. Brothers had left the first one be. It was a great film and soooo much better than I anticipated, then they had to muck it up with lousy follow ups. Talk about hype, I was so amped to see the second one, jeez, what a let down. I even gave the 2nd installment a second chance, but still, a massive let down. I can admire the effort (astounding special effects, pseudo-philosophy*eh hem*, idea of a strong feminine ideal, etc.) that went into the other two, but the second one had too many weak moments (laughed out loud during the Zion "rave" scene and Morpheus lack-luster speech) and the story was so muddy and filled with inane psycho babble. The 3rd one - thank god I didn't waste my money paying my way into the theater - was laughable at best although the end was rather touching and at least tied everything together decently. And the religious imagery, overkill not to mention the lack of chemistry between the 2 main characters. Meh, rant over.
be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle

Arrg! }:-) I fookin love the matrix trillogy! How could they let the first one be? It was always planned as three films, one story split into three parts.

The second was great, and the third one blew me away in the cinema. I pre-booked my tickets thinking the cinema would sell out, but it was pretty empty.

The matrix films were amazing, FACT, that's it, don't argue with me, it's not worth it.

nah, the FIRST matrix film was amazing. the others were ok but not a patch on the first.

the sequels were just do damn hollywood - you can see the money boys got their mits on it. wicked storylines, but the cringe factor was turned up to 11. (coz its one louder than 10)
