nice! good work, cheers sneaks :)
'Las Ninos Del Parque--liaisons dangereus' - god knows where they dug this up from, absolutely superb.
bizarrely enough i have heard this played out and about when i was shopping in new york. the diesel store on lexington ave had a dj playing wicked tunes. i almost was knocked off my feet when he dropped this, i know this crazy french tune!!!
Then again a few day earlier i was at this club called 'deep' and the second room was like the 'paradise garage' full of 70 funk, soul and electro crazy music. the dj dropped Brother's Gonna Work it Out by Willie Hutch, which for me was spot on.

dj's in diesel stores playing robo-funk??!!!?? outstanding!! next thing you know they'll be a shady geezer in a pork pie hat on the door going ''ello geeze, sorted for luv doves, make you shop quicker and fluffier, 3 for ten paaahnd' ;) :)
yeah, im rocking the willie hutch, thats a cool tune. i've love all that sort of stuff, but don't know much about it :( obscure US house music, yes. random-proto disco - no :) but i'd love to get into it - know of any good compilations???

the musical building blocks of house and obscure US house is not my thing. my friends are from the soulful side and their house music goes from classic soul and disco over the last 30 years. but one cd that stands out as obsucre from their collection would be 'Francois K Essential Mix'
a great cd collection including level 42, willie hutch, kraftwerk and de la soul
1. M 4.5 Basic-Maurizio
2. Love Money-Funkmasters
3. La-Kou-A-Jephte Guillaume

cool, cheers man, ill check it out.
must admit im more of a tech than soul man myself, but im pretty open-minded, will listen to most stuff, even pop. eg - Rachel Stevens tune - sweet dreams my la ex - genius, utter, one of the most sublime pop songs ive ever heard. seriously! i love it.
busted on the other hand - now they can fuck right off. :)

I'd bum rachel stevens.
is that a technical term???? ;)
seriously, erm, so would i!!! :)
i would agree that most of her music is crap, as is most pop dross, but honestly, check out sweet dreams my la ex - its really cool, hopelessly addictive - and from a production pint of view as well totally rocking. ace stuff AND shes fit as well!! although i had a mate who had a mate (blah blah) who went to school with her in Leeds and said she's totally up herself.
no bumming allowed probably - she'd be really dull and placid in the sack i reckon. missionary only. 3 times a week with maybe a sunday morning one of your lucky. :)
