strong song. as giles peterson would say
sounded stunning at fabric. the lead line is wicked....like the woozy part of euphoria when you're almost knocked off your feet...basslines classic house. beats are tidy
there's certainly a nod to classic orbital. that wobbly portamento lead line and the vocal bits at about 2 mins when the radio edit breaks down.
still very much tom and ed though. still very much a british psychedelic house record. still working it out.
viva acid house.

Absolutly love this song. I guess the radio edit works very well on radio so this track will be played many times going towards the summer. I find it cut short and too short but I'm a fan and a people who don't know about them will be in for a treat when they hear this on the radio. It's very much like star guitar. Electronic psychedelic but very poppy cause of the vocal hook.
Great video/visuals. A mix between Out of Control and Surface to air visuals. I miss the running bobbys but that would have been to obvious.
Can't wait to hear it in full length on a banging soundsystem. Extended version even??

I love it. Quite emotional and belearic, it should act as a good respite from the banging choons at the live gigs methinks
And the video is awesome - Chemical Brothers through and through
Can anyone tell me about the relase... is it getting released with the full length version? Will there be any remixes/b-sides? And will it be 320kbps?

Oh my my my my.... it is awesome, it really is...The video I just can't stop watching, so fitting, like someone posted earlier (sorry didn't check name), but very euphoric...
Checked out Amazon as you do and there is some artwork already, sorry if this isn't new, but I thought id post any way, no harm.

My life is a boat, being blown by you. With nothing ahead, just the deepest blue... To me you're like a setting sun. You rise then you're gone.

Loved this when I first heard the short live clip and love it even more after hearing the radio edit on Youtube (from Rynostar's link on Facebook). Very stirring and emotional record. Wasn't overly impressed with the Escape Velocity video but I really like the video to Swoon, seems to go very nicely with the song.

just downloaded swoon in iTunes! generally here we get releases on the friday rather than monday, like the uk. but i advise people to check their iTunes to see if its available, its unfortunately only a 1 track single of the radio edit, so we still have to wait for album for the full version!
Your love keeps lifting me...
Defined a little more formally, "escape velocity" is the initial speed required to go from an initial point in a gravitational potential field to infinity with a residual velocity of zero, with all speeds and velocities measured with respect to the field

i love the way the beat kicks in with out much of a fuss....just kind of slots in! and kind of sweeping spacy synth sounds in the background, like chemical ufo's shooting past you... cannot wait to see this live...looking forward to it so much! plus ive booked an amazing place for lunch on the friday!

I can't buy it till monday also. I played this song last night many times over in my car - my car's a mobile disco with brilliant massive sound - i had visions of mega raves going insane again in a surrender way, this song is gorgeous! i want to be at a chemical gig!!

I do love this track but its so obviously a much shortened version of a track that has a lot more. I wonder why it is so short at 3 mins? There are plent of radio friendly tracks out there which are 4 mins or more.
I'm not that sure anymore if there is a longer version of it, since the video to the song is meant to accompany it which could mean that what we've seen/heard is just it.. But hopefully I'm wrong and that break near the end which now is replaced by the vocal loop "there's nothing else" Is still there. Having both parts in the album version would be marvellous!
