the live album is not a bootleg I believe, by the way of the info on the sleeve and the disc it seems to be a cd recorded by a radio network called WESTWOOD RADIO NETWORKS, I have heard of this name before regarding chems interviews about singles album. It says on the disc NOT FOR SALE ,FOR LICENSED BROADCASTS ONLY. if any have info about this it would greatly appreciated.

hey that brixton oct 96 was my first chemical live experience!!! i have a bootleg of that show called 'mixin' up the medicine' the quality of the sound is very good, although to me it sounds unmastered. there is one strange bit on cd where jo whiley appears saying, 'the chemical brothers exclusively live for radio one'. if it was a straight recording i would have expected more talking and jingles.
as for westwood one, they seem to have done a multitude of live recordings of many bands. i've seen a few chems ones for sale at EIL, but they get sold a soon as they go on sale. i would say that they are very exclusive promos!!!
if you enter the chems website via astralwerks there is a westwood one radio interview also!!

sneakerbeater do you know if that setlist I posted is the same one you have on your cd? I think the cd I have is rare as it is a offical westwood copy not a bootleg of the recording.the sound quality is very good on mine, there is no extra voices on it so it think it is a direct recording.

the same tracks spread over 12 tracks, with some curious track marks.
i'm pretty sure that wasn't the full concet. but time has erased most memories of that gig. the only thing i can really remember about it was that there were the 2 great spheres at either side of the stage which the veggies projected on to!!
