Don't worry 'bout it, man. Some people misinterpreted your question as a much more simpler (and odd) question. Simple miscommunication. All good?

Everyone else: And we wonder why we can't keep new posters? Come on, get with it.

Of course you weren't included in that. 'stash neither, for that matter, surprisingly. All the damage had already been done, but hopefully it's now been repaired.

actually, its dissapointing to me. I'm a huge chem. bros fan; they are basically the only artists that i continue to collect, and buy multiple copies of their records (i.e. I own 6 EBW 1/2).

Hence, I know a good bit about them, as they have inspired me in many ways musically. However, I also know that some of you on here know much more about them than I do, which is why I posted the question on this forum in the 1st place.

The responses that I received are dissapointing IMO. I should have just kept my hands away from the keyboard and my browser away from this site..... :?

I think people are just bored out of their fuckin minds right now, I know I am... I'm up at 12am righting a Russian paper, don't think I've been this involved with the board for years.

Plus there's really like 15ish (?) here so it's kinda like a familiar group of people, good once you get used to their responses. I'd suggest sticking around here, it get's pretty good when news for the chemicals starts coming out?

Any way, one of our less sarcastic members, Stephen, has put up a great FTP ( ftp://public:chemica...al.hd.free.fr ) site that we?ve all been uploading lives, remixes, and others to and there should be the original song that samples It doesn?t matter. That will give you the non-filtered/tweaked sample and you can match it? Enjoy.

Re-read the thread, the answer to your question is there. To spell it out, right on 1:29-1:30, the vocal loop starts. The loop goes like this: "doesn't matter, it doesn't matter, it" etc. with "doesn't" on the first beat and "it" on the last beat. So right on 1:29-1:30 it says "doesn't".

That is a shame... I'm sorry dekane. Some of us tried to make the effort but it seems that birds of a feather flock together, no matter if some may try to stick out.

I hope one day you will decide to come back. But I wouldn't blame you if you didn't.

If people can't take a fuckin' joke, we don't fuckin' need 'em. Consider it an idiot filter.

Bullshit, man. We just pissed off a genuine fan who wanted to start posting more on the board. Idiots we should be filtering out, sure, but I don't think he was an idiot. Maybe the jokes just weren't funny this time around.

Dude, he asked what the vocal sample in "IT DOESN'T MATTER" was.

If you can't make a little bit of fun outta that, I mean, come on. Seriously, I thought he made the whole thread as a joke. Too thin skinned to be on the interweb.

And it's not like the guy was even a real n00b, he registered last year.

He was asking in particular about one small snippet that he believed not to be a chopped-up version of the main vocal sample. I haven't bothered trying to listen to it, but it was a fair question.

And just because he registered a while ago doesn't mean he's posted around here a lot of is familiar with how we can often be dicks to newbs.

well, if you look back at the thread, no one was really dickish to him... the biggest dick would have been slipvin... would you like a moderator to delete slipvin's dick post, or would the whole forum go up in arms about it? It's a matter of senority or something. A post that would get deleted if it was made by a spambot (iggy, i'm looking at you and britney's vagina) is ok if it's done by a long time member? If JunkieXL was here being a dick to people, no one would care if it got deleted. But forum members are allowed? It's a terribly confusing double standard, and one that just enforces the idea that noobs are fair game.

Personally, I don't really care for new people, but I don't slag them off as hard as I would like, out of deference to whirly. My feeling is that if someone was cool, they would already be here.
