Come on! There's already a topic, dude!! Don't you know? This is not acceptable!

Anyways, finally you're back :D. You haven't posted for a long time, did you?

Ok. Well, i pretty like your "mix". Those pad sounds and atmospheres are really catchy. It might service Iggy's Sex Tape thread very well .

The intro isn't too long at all - it's alright as it is. Good things need time, ya know?! There's a really cool sound you made at min. 1:41/42

(sorta time stretching noise?).

Then at min. 4:36 this little break(beat) is goood! Maybe you could accentuate it a little more.

Last but not least, the ending (of this clip) sounds promising. Nice bassline there - keep it up. That could turn into some mad electro from there on.

Now you could take some time and say something about my newest idea "The Dark Wave" on http://www.myspace.com/pitchwheel

Ah, yes, I took off to Oregon and wasn't able to post. :-p

I'll take a listen when I get back to California.

First of all, chemicalreaction...

I thought your mix was parallel in sound and quality to some of adam freelands chilled out stuff...as well as a bit of UNKLE: more stories vibe to it. I was a bit annoyed when you cut off that mad bass line at the end of the sample.

cant wait to hear the full set

CSAAAAAR..... dude i listened to "the dark wave" and i gotta say its probably my favourite track of yours that i've heard. I loved it when it hits the 1:10 area :D

Keep it up dudes

CR: I definitely want to hear more. Chill is an understatement, and what I heard brought an undeniable smirk to my face. The good one--you know, when you hear something that makes you go, "Ahhhh, yeaaaaaaaaah..." ;-)

Csar: I'll have to check out Dark wave when I get home--MySpace is blocked here at work. I'll have to give the other project you are working on another listen. I'm a bit busy at the moment, but I liked what I heard the first time around.

::cheers to you both::

Csar--I really, really like Dark Wave. I really dug the hip-hop beats, and then the switch up. It was funky, chill and ambient, all wrapped up nicely to eat. ;-)

Good stuff!!!

Edit: You've Been Waiting for so Long is great, too. Nice work!

Thanks for a listening guys! where would i be without these feedbacks? Oh i know...NOWHERE!

So thanks again!!

Csar - lol @ if you spam me, i'll spam you!

The dark wave is nice and very slickly produced and the haunting strings were nice...though if you added a bit of reverb to get that live feel it would have been a nice touch! lol

I like the saturday night remix and jumping marmalade.

Thanks all for your nice comments, Pooter, Mickey, Jittern! Didn't meant to hijack reaction's thread.

Since the track isn't finished yet I'll take your advice into account chemicalreac. .

Btw reaction you managed it quite well not answering my question on how you did these "time-streched" sounds which occur at the beginning ;). These were great.

my turn to spam :D

i just want peoples thoughts on "confidential UPDATED" and "Sound To Sound"

www.myspace.com/arcadiamusic07

I would especially appreciate your views of the last 1/4 of confidential as thats where i think we have put the most effort into our music.

Also Sound To Sound isnt completed yet so suggestions would be appreciated (by the way its the first time we used a vocoder...i love it)

Hey everyone -

I was just wondering if you'd like me to change the title of this thread as a sort of addendum to the POST YOUR MUSIC HERE thread?

The reason I ask is that recently I've been finding that some of the really old threads, or threads with a high post count have "broken" pages which are not only aggravating but can cause confusion. The POST YOUR MUSIC HERE thread has a lot of history, so I don't want to step on toes here but I can close it (not delete!!) and we can start fresh with this thread?

Whatchya think?

lol

I was just so excited when i finished the track that I wanted to post it as soon as possible without realizing there already is an existing thread on it. even though i've contributed to it many times. lol, Whirly it would be awesome if you could merge the two together... =)

Csar - those time stretched sounds are quite nice. There is a function on fruity loops where you can stretch a beat down to where it sounds really deep, distorted and obscure. I'm not on my PC right now so i can't tell you exactly what is called but later fo sho!

Hmmm. I can't merge threads unfortunately. But if other people wouldn't mind I'll close the old thread (it's tagged under Legendary Threads anyhow) and this one can be the fresh Post Your Music Here thread? Anyone? Anyone? Bueller?

This will end en era. And gives hopes for another one.

Jittern, as for your tracks I must say or rather like to say that i like your style(s). Catchy use of arps accompanied with nice basslines and drums.

On the down side of your tracks you've got some issues on the frequencies. As I'm at uni right now I don't have headphones or speakers but when I'm home I'll point them out. What I still know from memory is the "confidential" intro, the part where the beat comes in. It seems that the bass frequencies swallowing others which causes muffled sounds (you know what I mean?).

Ah yes, and btw the beginning of "Trickle Theory" is just awesome. Could imagine another beat or a combination of breaks and 4/4s throughout the song.

Keep it up you and your folks!

Yes to this being the new PYMH thread! A new thread may even inspire new postings of new tracks from older forumites...
