Hmm. So many basslines, so little time.
Tax Man - The Beatles
Angel - Massive Attack
Loose Booty - Sly and the Family Stone (don't laugh, it's friggen great!)
Play That Funky Music - Wild Cherry (I hear you laughin, iggy, stop it!)
The Duke - Chemical Brothers

Don't agree sneaks with Together having a all time great bassline. Looking for basslines that really dominate the track.

-> Rapper's Delight: The Sugar Hill Gang
-> Daft Punk: Around the World
-> White Stripes: Seven Nation Army
-> Armand Van Helden: Professional Widow
-> Dead Prez: Hip Hop
-> Double 99: Rip Groove
-> Michael Jackson: Billie Jean
-> Mantronix: Got to have your love

The thing about It doesn't matter and under the influence is they're not actually great basslines, just bass that goes right through you. Don't get me wrong, love the tracks but hardly the best basslines off all time.
Can't stick in bam bam, terrible song.
