That is the second engagement announcement within the first 4 days of the year. I kinda suspect I will hear about a third by the end of the week from another friend. This is the year for deciding to get hitched I am thinking.

There's a track in The new Plug album that features both the "mind bending chemicals" and "fucking excellent acid house" samples !
For those who don't know, Plug is an alias of Luke Vibert under which he released excellent drum'n'bass records. His "new" album "Back on Time" consists of tracks from a few lost DATs, tracks from 1995 to 1998.

Saw that the other day and got excited by the new remixes for P.E.T.R.O.L., and Kittens. Over my Christmas break I started to play Wipeout HD again. Was digging the soundtrack again. Seeing this list made eargasmic again.
Wipeout has been turning into a series of pleasant electronic music surprises. Now that you (looking at Ben_j) told me of the Plug = Luke Vibert it continues the streak. Also found out recently from Wipeout that Two Fingers = Amon Tobin & Doubleclick. The other big discovery from the series for me was the Aerodynamik remix by Alex Gopher & Etienne de Crecy. Wipeout also introduced me to Daft Punk back in 1999 with their track Musique on the Wipeout2097/XL soundtrack. I am proud to say that the series has had a dyanmic influence on my listening habits over the past decade.
Now is EBW3 just gonna be straight rehash of UTI from Wipeout 3? Every other returning Wipeout song has been refixed in some way according to the list.

Maybe following is not for this topic, but i dont know where to post this. By utter accident i found this (cant believe i missed it!) and am really interested in Violator remastered, so would like to ask you guys&girls if someone got it (or any of these) and if so, how does remaster sounds? is it worth it? 5.1? Sorry for messy post, got so little time these days and am writing this in a hurry.
