Hello fellow Chemical Fans,

the year is almost over, so I wanted to invite you to talk about your personal list of top albums of 2003. So what made your year, and why ?

.: Fluke - Puppy

After a long period of silence (and only two members), Fluke release their new album on the One Little Indian label. From the beginning on, they kick into a deep and twisted mix of dark synths and rolling drums that pins you down on the floor, just to release you for the frowning YKK and Baby Pain. My personal favorite of 2003.

(tip: Snapshot, My Spine)

.: Hybrid - Morning Sci-Fi

Mostly abandoned their nu break sounds, Hybrid morph to a darker, powerful style while not leaving their roots. Huge string patterns meet filigran synth tracks. Wonderful. :)

(tip: Gravastar, Know Your Enemy)

.: Delerium - Chimera

Rhys Fulber and Bill Leeb - can these two men do any wrong ? Not today, Chimera once more proves that Delerium are a class of their own. After the solo efforts of Rhys Fulber's project Conjure One, both of them team up again to deliver another piece of fine songs. Lots of former collaborators return again, Leigh Nash being one of them. Nice melodies, beautiful album.

(tip: After All)

Next please :)

Agreed with antype for #1. Empty the bones of you is an amazing voyage of distortion and interesting sounds.

Of course the Singles is on my list of favorites for 2003. I also love Goldfrapp "Black Cherry." And a pal at work just got me the new Beatles "Let It Be... Naked" record which I've been dying to have since I heard it when it was released.

Things I'm thankful for are my family with big love to my husband and son, my friends, my coworkers and job, and everything that happened inbetween!
be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle

I don't think I've even bought 10 'new release' albums this year, but I'll see how many I can think of....

> Kraftwerk - Tour de France Soundtracks

An amazing album, Kraftwerk showing the DJ Sammys of the world how its done 8). Incredible room-filling sounds.

> Chemical brothers - Singles 93-03

Love the second disc.

> Goldfrapp - Black cherry

The bits of it I've heard sound really good...must buy this.

Hmm.. Speakerboxx/Love Below, anyone? Hail To The Thief, Singles, can't think of anything else right now.
He put on a turn-down collar, a black bow, and wore his Sunday tail-coat. As such, he looked spruce, and what his clothes would not do, his instinct for making the most of his good looks would.
