Well...

1. Scotland beat S Africa - the world champions, no less - at rugby
2. Partick Thistle (the finest football team in the world) make it into the next round of the Scottish Cup

And now
3. After many, many years of waiting, off to see Leftfield live at the world's finest venue, Barrowlands!

The first beer is just a few minutes away as well.

Not far off a perfect day.

Actually I meant the big phat screen, not the Moog (?) on the screen and all those synths.

I've seen some older gigs by Jarre and there were always awesome lasers and lights but I don't remember using such a big screen for visuals. Or did he?

Had a very, very nice roll last night and had a nice chat with James of SMD after their set. Such a nice guy!

A nice little break before nothing but studying. :)

Finished up a 13 page memo that took me 20 hours to complete. Yikes. Had to research Illinois law to figure out the specifics of landowner duty to child trespassers.

Hope everyone has safe travels next week for Thanksgiving! (for those of us celebrating Thanksgiving, obviously)

That looks to me like the Equinoxe cover. A few years before UTI!

Incidentally - Leftfield were awesome. I can't ever recall going to a gig to be greeted with warnings of "strobe lighting and excessive noise levels".

Hey guys I was being ironic with Jarre copying the Brothers. Just wanted to point out that he started using
a big fat ass screen this tour.

Whats up everbodeeeh

Long time no speakie. Been busy. Bit to busy, hence the reason why i am now at home; i 'overworked' myself at a job i didn't even like. So now, doctors orders, i have to rest for 3 months (ME! REST! WTF?) buy quite frankly i HAVE to rest because i have zero energy.

So now i am at the point in my life where i HAVE to choose for what makes me happy instead of the big money career job. So i am going back to 'school' for acting and tv-hosting. Yes! And i have some exciting projects lined up in that area too, but nothing is ever for certain so we'll see about that. Time to make my dreams come true, and if i don't succeed, at least i tried.

So what have we learned from this kids? Don't work to hard, and if you work reaaaally hard make sure it's a job you like doing, and always try and make your dreams come true!

A lesson from yours truly.

Obv i will be lurking more now that i am homebound.

Big love to you all pumpkins.

Hey Jeanie, good to hear from you! I think a role in TV or acting is a natural fit for you. You've got a very emotive personality and I think it will translate well to that line of work.

As for not working too hard, I don't think that's an option for me anymore. I always thought I could end up an "-holic" but I didn't think it would be a workaholic. I need a day off, lol! Working 50-60 hours per week again lately and it's taking its toll. Can't wait til prep for Xmas is done at work, then I'm going to see when I can get a relief pharmacist in and book a flight somewhere, anywhere in the New Year. Anyone have any suggestions where I should go for a week? I'm open for all kinds of things...

OH MY GOOOOD! JEANS! How did I miss your first post in--::checks watch::--like, MONTHS!?!?!

Sounds like a good change for you. I hope your pursuits turn up nothing but success!!! Best of luck, my dear.

I'm having a bit of trouble studying, but I can't say it's been completely unproductive. I'll have to check and see how well I did on a practice Torts essay tomorrow. Feeling confident in general, though... Bah. Too confident, probably.

TWO MORE DAYS UNTIL OVEREATING! YEAH!

Oh, on a REALLY awkward note, my girlfriend's roommate requested that I not wear a robe around the apartment. I mean, it's not like I was strutting around in my girlfriend's robe--it's just, you know when you're lying in bed naked with your significant other and you just want to slip on a robe to go to the bathroom?

Yeah, I guess my girlfriend's roommate had a problem with that. It put my girlfriend in a weird place where she either had to comply with the request or endure awkward, angry tension for the rest of the year. So now I have to put pants and a shirt on before heading to the room o' relief to take care of my post-coital bodily functions.

Thanks for sharing this rather awkward, random note with me!

Yours,

Pooter.

p.s. I think my gf's roommate is jealous that my gf is getting laid and she isn't. Man... what a bitch.

p.p.s. So, the last guy my gf's roommate had sex with, actually, was a French guy who (no offense to Ben_J) turned out to have a 2 inch penis and only lasted about three minutes in bed. I guess if the last person I had sex with had nothing but two inches and three minutes to work with it would leave me a little pissed, too...
