My ex kindly bought me some Chems tix for late August through See. Not a prob there. Until they use that bloody useless service called SMS to deliver the damn tickets!!!

We missed the drop off last week (and tbh, didnt think the tix would be going out until at least July), got a letter through the door. Rang them to rearrange a delivery...only got an automated system!

Spent ages trying to figure out the unfathomable website to re-arrange delivery. Finally figured it out 3 days later. I re-arranged delivery to my dad's office for him to sign (as one does with any other delivery with other companies). He went out for 10 mins...guess who showed up! SMS delivery man kicks off at the secretary, refuses to even let her call my dad to get him to return quickly and drives off with no mention if he will return.

I get called by said irate father, I call SMS a tad pissed off...it then turns out that even if grumpy driver DOES return he will only accept Andi's signature...who is 80 miles away!!!

WHY DO SEE USE THESE CHARLATANS???? Why when you click 'Buy Tickets' does it not then explain just how fecking difficult it is for tickets just to get bloody well posted to you???? Andi made the tickets out for my address (as they were for me!), which in any normal circumstance when you use any other delivery service isnt a problem...

I understand the secure nature of the system but it is a bloody ridiculous system that doesnt allow for people to buy other people tickets to be sent to a more preferential address.

Ringing and complaining to the gimp at the other end of the phone is no use either. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!

Sorry to rant...but...grrrrrrr!!!

Apparently its down to the driver on the day. My ex had his passport delivered the other day by SMS, his housemate didnt even sign for them! WTF!

Yep, See tickets are officially wankers. For the Roundhouse show half the people going didn't get tickets in time and had to frantically phone to get it all sorted out. Was grim.

I ordered from TicketWeb and so far haven't had any response. Their order status page just says what I've ordered with no indication of when it will be posted. Great!

I avoided going through See, as I've had several dealings with SMS in the past. Nuff said... :-/

Am slightly worried that tickets are starting to go out, though, as I ordered through Ticketline and have heard nothing. The confirmation email simply says: "Tickets will be despatched as soon as possible, but may not be received until 7-10 days before the event. Please do not contact us unless you have not received your tickets within 7 days of the event."

Use this number in future for SMS 01604782952 Yes SMS are fucking wankers. Seetickets say they use them because they had so many problems using Royal Mail Special Delivery but thats bollocks. Its because they are cheaper. Far cheaper than the £4.80 they charge u for postage. CUNTS

ugh - not again!!! I can understand requiring direct signatures on packages but it really stinks when you're shipments and deliveries are at the mercy of whoever is dropping off packages. So annoying.

And as much as I dislike Ticketmaster, at least their are expedient when it comes to getting tickets right off to the customer. I guess that's why they must charge exorbitant service fees.

I just hope this won't be another Roundhouse snafu. I didn't even go to that show but it was hearbreaking to read so many lost out on seeing the gig.

And what about people who buy tickets that live out of the country? Does the 7-day rule extend to those who live outside of the UK or do they even ship tickets to non-UK residents?

It's hardly rocket science - I got my tickets the other week. SMS tried to deliver tickets to my house whilst I was at work, I wasn't in so they left a note with a number which I rang and I arranged for them to be delivered to my work 2 days later.... I'm now the proud owner of 4 tickets (Bob's your uncle!).

As for the roundhouse fiasco yes that was annoying having to collect tickets at the gig but that was nothing to do with SMS, it was SEE tickets fault for not bothering to issue them on time.

Yeah, I'm a tad worried about the out-of-the-UK delivery. I hope I can get them sooner than later.

SMS knocked on the door to deliver mine yesterday and shoved a card through the letterbox. I was still in bed at the time. I took the time to get dressed rather than give him a big surprise when I opened the door...

He had just got back in his van and I waved at him, waving the bit of yellow card and he blatantly pretended not to see and drove off.

Fucker.

So I have to wait in all day on my day off on Thursday for a re-delivery because the twats don't let you pick up at a sorting office or depot like Royal Mail do. :-/

That sucks that he drove off and now you have to stay in all day on Thursday. Hopefully that same driver will be back and you can 'surprise' him next time around.
