About the website... I think we need a basic functioning FurtherRemixed website up on the web. No intros, no music, just a simple one or two page site explaining what this is, where to contact us, maybe a link to one of the remixes. Something straight-forward. Once we release FurtherRemixed, we'll put up the all out website with intros and gadgets and whatnot, but until then I think we just need a good official website going so that people have somewhere to go to once we start generating some buzz about the album. Does that sound good?

This weekend I'll post the final versions of my songs. There isn't too much different about them after all this time but levels are better, basically. I'll post just an mp3 version on soundcloud or something and then I'll put up the wavs on megaupload

OK, I have made changes to the audio page, added all of the remixes that I know of. The download links should all work. I also added a comment section so people can leave comments as well. There is an admin area so the comments can be approved before they are posted to stop spammers.

I tried to dress it up a bit by adding some background images. There are 8 that load randomly so you should see a different one when you reload the page.

Now I need to do more work on the flash player.

I am also waiting on some text for the front page.

Flip the Switch had some links for people to make donations, should we offer the same, and if so, any suggestions on who to recommend?

Then finally I'll do a bit of promotion and setup Google Analytics so we can get some stats.

Thoughts, suggestions, critiques?

Comments are now showing, I still need to tweak the styles etc so bare with me. Got some nice ideas from White Noise to improve the looks of the main page and audio page so I will be implementing them in the next day or so.

The flash player needs some serious tweaking, working on it....

It was always there for bots to follow, but it was black. It is now visible, good suggestion.

I have a question and this is more out of curiosity and for the sake of putting it 'out there'. But once all the info (such as art work and remixes) are compiled and put on the furtherremixed site - is that all?

Or is there a possibility this could be a growing work in progress that fans can contribute to over time?

I will be around to add to it as needed, so if anyone has more remixes or artwork they want to include, just post it here and I'll add it to the site. Well the remixes will need approval from the team bosses :mrgreen:.

Thanks to some great ideas from White Noise, and some awesome text for the front page from WhirlyGirl, we are getting close to a promotable site.

I still need to polish it a bit, and fix the flash player up, but I think it is looking great!

EDIT:- Just checked it in IE7 and an older FF and the link list on the audio page looks wrong, will fix that tomorrow.
