i've never been to nyc before, so i'm definitely doing some research locating record shops, clubs, etc. if i could only find a nice hotel with a decent price....that would be nice!

Hey I know the truth hurts, but someone had to tell you. You guys are really pretty lame. I mean come on, meeting up with people you don't know or care about because you both like the same music? It's kind of pathetic, you have to admit.

 S2A i really do feel sorry for you.

First of all , you obv would never meet with one of us , but yet you are telling us we are all lame. Now, if you would know a bit of the " history " of this forum , you would probably hold youre comments.

Offcourse we are all here because of the music and the music brought us all togheter. But the reason why a lot of has have been meeting up , is because there are a lot of wicked people on this forum. Some of them people became my actual friends - and i dont call somebody a true friend quickly. In fact - one user of this forum became like my best ever mate.

Call me pathetic , call me lame , but the only one who deserves a negative name here is you....be a bit more open minded man. It can lead to amazing moments and friendships.

Jeanie has spoken, Amen.

The point of a concert is to experience the music live, loud, and WITH OTHERS...and if you don't like that, then just listen to the CD in your room with the shades down and lights off..please, you cannot have too many people to go to a show with, especially a Chems show.

And if you haven't noticed, this board has a rather small but close knit community, connecting people across continents. Not lame at all.

I am a giant douche. I weigh 500 pounds and live in a basement and I would be embarassed to be seen in public.

wow what a douche bag. I am on PT(phantasytour) Phish's fan website) all the time and have made great friends there. Went to shows all over the country together. Seeing as I go solo to shows a lot, it is cool to meet others with like-minded personalities and similar interests.

Phish is about the music AND the community that surrounds it and I like to think that this community sense can be transferred across a lot of genres of music. Maybe some better than others. But I mean come on. Ever go to a rave back in the day S2A? Similar vibe of community and what not.

takesumtime- it would be cool to meet up. I have seen the new deal a few times as well. Either way always like to meet peeps with similar interests

S2A, I really dont think with your 5 whole posts that you have any right to judge people on this forum. Great friendships have come as a result of the Chemical Brothers. Great friendships have come as a result of music, period. It is too bad your mind is closed off to the wonderful opportunity of friendship. Perhaps you should run along and enjoy the music by yourself and spare us from your lame commentary and poor judgment calls.

keef0420- with your 4 whole posts, you seem to get it. :) It is really cool you down with the whole music community that has probably been enriched through belonging to the Phish fansite. Meeting up with other fans who share the same taste in tunes... it is a great feeling that brings in a new dynamic to life in general IMO.

So anyway, it's up to you keef0420 - should I execute my Hitler-esque powers and close this thread so you can open a fresh new meet up thread that will be S2A-free?
