I heard that there is going to be some big concert for the climate or whatever. Anybody know whats happening? Who is playing? Where it is? ETC.

News just in: The Live Earth Rio concert was cancelled.
It was to be in Rio, but there aren't enough security personnel to ensure safety.

But the article says the following places for the concert are:
London; Tokyo; Johannesburg, South Africa; Shanghai, China; Sydney, Australia; and Hamburg, Germany; and East Rutherford, New Jersey. A band of scientists also will perform in Antarctica, to bring the festival to seven continents.

Yeah it was supposed to take place at every continent, but I guess the Rio part messes up everything...But, I also heard from my Brazilian friends that they are trying to appeal the Court's decision...
On a side note, it would be nice if the Chemical Brothers did a free concert in Rio (on the beach) just like Fatboy, Tiesto, Rolling Stones, etc...What are the chances of that happening?
