[so carnutlace doesn't get mad at me] I'm working on a new song. [/end]
Let's see, we talked through like 5 post pages about whether or not Bloke is a guy or a girl (not that i'm mad at you). And also, that "fourth time" thing when bloke made some applause gestures was just a joke. We also talked about if basshunter was good or not, which we were supposed to post music and listen to them as such.

Of those remixes in the tracklist, I love at least five of them—I'm pretty sure I'm going to love this. And I'm about to go on a trip, so thank you!
Edit: You live in Philly? I'm flying into Pittsburgh! Sadly, I don't think I'm going to make it to Philly this trip.

Philly and Pittsburgh are about a 5-6 hour drive from each other; they're close, but not really "night out" close. Besides, with the current weather in the northeast, you'll be satisfied to get to your destination on time.
Have a great time in the 'Burg. Go Steelers!

It's really great! It's so seamless, too. I shared it with a friend I used to work with back at the record store who's an 80's fanatic and she loved it. It's hard to believe this is your first mix. What program(s) did you use to mix the songs together?
Also, Ben_j I've been meaning to give your mix a spin as well. Same with giving everyone else some eartime.

Thanks man! The weather was actually fairly reasonable for my trip. We were going to eat at the Fritz, but instead went to a brew-house/restaurant built in this church. Very cool.
And your mix - it is excellent! Whirly pretty much said what I was going to say. Keep up the good work, mate!

@whrily - That's awesome, thank you. Please continue to share it with anyone that will listen. Keep in mind it is my first digital mix, but I have past experience spinning on both vinyl and CD decks. I never gained much of a following, perhaps due to my tendency to cross styles and genres. Or maybe I just sucked. Either way, I am very happy some people have enjoyed this mix.
As far as software goes, I used MixMeister Fusion. Some people may downplay this as compared to more popular apps such as Traktor or Ableton; MixMeister is traditionally known for plotting the mix after you pick song order. However, anyone that listens will see I built the mix with a good amount of editing, remixing, layering and general work; I did not simply let the segues fall as they may. I needed an app I could master quickly yet one with enough functionality for producing the progression and style I was looking for. The title "time and space" is somewhat ironic as I really have neither, although I ultimately thought it was fitting for the theme in general.
I would love more feedback from anyone, even if it is negative. I haven't gotten much response here, on Soundcloud, or with some other friends so I'm wondering if I should continue putting future mixes out there. (I'll keep making them 'cause I enjoy it but I'll keep sharing if you like them too.)
