Bought the cd and 7" on Monday, I like the song but I'm still not sure about his voice. It sounded better once I caught some of the lyrics though. I love No Need, awesome!! The Oliver Huntemann remix is boring as shit though (imo)...

I haven't tried the 7digital link yet, but I bet it's because you're in the US.

I purchased the single and Clip Kiss off itunes. I foolishly downloaded those songs off itunes and not the whole single - so now I need to re-purchase Clip Kiss and Do It Again so I can get the remixes. I'm such a knob. I and am holding off on No Need til I can get it on disc.

I tried accessing the Do It Again single straight from the home page of this site just a second ago. I think yesterday (or the day before?) it took me straight to 7digital, but today it took me to UK itunes where, non-surprisingly, I was denied.

Oh, and I just got another newsletter with some more links. There's an exclusive remix of Do It Again linked in there from the Chemical Brothers/Guardian shop, but it must be jammed or something. I've been trying to access it for about 10 minutes now.

yeah that's the one i'm talking about whirly. I got clip kiss from iTunes in the US.

I absolutely love Clip Kiss. I could have done without the 60 seconds of looped whining in the middle -- but the rest of the track is old school chem 4 on the floor ... perhaps a good edit will increase the middle part where the frequency knob goes up in a few steps as a loop. absolutely fantastic.

Wow what an amazing observation chemical_medo. If you say it's bad, then it must be bad.

HAHA! Did you not like this song at first? It's probably a grower for many people. Don't feel bad.

When Golden Path was released, I thought there were going to be riots in the streets. I seriously think more people were initially turned off by the song than were enjoying it and that was pretty annoying. Then for some strange reason, people heard GYH and everyone was all hugs again. Art is controversial.

Ugh, I dont even wanna rehash what I've said about "Do It Again". It's trully embarassing, especially considering how often I listen to it now.

I liked Golden Path from the momment I heard it.

Oooo!!! Ouch. Some of those Golden Path threads were really painful. I loved the song, and still do. That song saw me through a tough time... But Bosco you shouldn't beat yourself up over the whole Do It Again stuff. Really. It is OK to change your mind, when something clicks - and I told you this already - but I can relate.

Oh - speaking of Do It Again. I've been meaning to ask. At 5:08, does someone say "fuck em!" or am I just having another fucking animal in eric's house moment?

is that why the song is deemed explicit? "Fuck em" might be reference to the animals in Eric's house.

I loved golden path too. People were really nasty in their reasoning for disliking it. kinda music nazi sort of way... i recall spending like $45 to get a promo of the singles for that and a chance to hear gyh 2 months before they premiered it on the radio. The funny thing was I got it off ebay and they sent me a notice afterwards saying the sale of that promo was illegal or something and so I thought i wasn't going to get it. I never checked my bank account to notice that $45 was gone and then all of a sudden one summer day it came in the mail (after like 2 weeks) and i had no idea what it was until i opened it and then i was in complete euphoria for the rest that stinking hot, GP-hating summer!

so your reaction to DIA was like my reaction to Leave Home for years. It took me a LOOOOOONNNNNGGGGGG time before I truly aprieciated that track. I think it was the game SSX3 that really got me hooked.

Golden Path, always a spiritual song for moi. related to my life in alot of (weird) ways when it first came out. I was still so happy when I got it on vinyl when it first came out. I played Nude Night 30 times that day.

Do It Again...I totally fell in love with this track the moment I heard it on my lunch break driving back to work when Jo Whiley played it. Love the minimal feel it has, and I just love the way the base comes in (Album & Single version I like to flip between) Ali Love's lyrics and delivery just works so well. It also works well live, those visuals, I wish they'd come to Bristol or somewhere down this way havent seen new show for real yet!!!

Bosco I am glad I'm not the only one hearing that little bit! I can't help but think my ears are playing tricks on me, hehe.

VMan you MUST get out to see a show - some how, some way. You need to have your head explode and Do It Again is so fantastic played out live!

I know Whirly, the last time I saw them was t Wolverhampton in March 2005, great show, but the new set looks and sounds so much different, in a fantastic new way! Youtube just doesn't do it justice :-(
